I have a higher BA with Jeter online than vs CPU, they’ve definitely made playing offline way more tedious.

Grandal went 0-3 today with 3 strikeouts and is now batting .125 on the year and after ten years in the league is batting .235. He got his hitting stats boosted today.

Every set you see some version of the same lineup, diversity is terrible this year. Also because cards expire I’m not trying to parallel cards like in past years. In ‘21 it felt like a worthwhile grind to get Kyle Seager from a 96 up to a 98-99, now you’re forced to use whatever content SDS decides to release in the current set.

There definitely needs to be competition, it creates innovation and makes the customer experience a top priority. We’ve had the exact same gameplay and graphics for years making the game feel stale, now the content quality has severely dropped and that’s really dampened any positive feelings towards the game as a whole.

Just did a conquest game and won 4-0. That got me 1254xp, if you only played conquest it would take 518 three inning games to finish everything with no dropped games.

Sure if that's the ONLY way you could earn XP. But it's not as I posted earlier. Your 518 games completely ignores collections, showdown, conquests, player programs, & daily missions.

Just giving numbers, it’s about 130 hours of gameplay to finish without any of the other ways. I haven’t been able to finish a game all night so those numbers might be a little low.

if you haven't been able to finish a game all night then it's most likely on your end. Other than the unscheduled "maintenance" to finally turn off 2x XP I have had 0 issues with the servers and I'm not even hard wired.

But again if you are going to "just give numbers" you should provide an accurate accounting which would include all the other ways you can earn XP. If it was only earned from ranked games then I'd be 100% behind you. But that's not the case so it's just misleading at best and whining at worst.

Insulting me doesn’t take away from the actual issue at hand, the current, right now problem. The servers are still not fixed so people get maybe 60-70% of base xp, not even the minimum they should. There’s no reason to take away 2x until they can resolve their ongoing issues.

Now look at his splits, which is what actually matters when it comes to the ratings in this game. He got a decrease in contact vs R, deservingly so. increase in contact vs L, power vs L, He is batting .333 with a homer in a small sample vs L. Decrease in vision(strikeouts), Increase to discipline. he is 3rd in the league in walks. While you could argue a bigger decrease in contact vs R was needed, his changes aren't completely unjustified

For each hit vs a lefty he got a 4 point boost to contact lol.

If you’re freaking out that people can get WS or BR rewards after winning 40 games then your frustration is misplaced. It sounds more like a lack of emotional maturity than an actual in game issue.

I wouldn’t be surprised if there’s a different developer that’s been working on a MLB game already and SDS is just a placeholder until it’s finished. Seems like they don’t have the staff or ability to make the next gen leap. You really need a brand new game top to bottom as the engine The Show runs on is extremely outdated at this point.

@BJDUBBYAH I’m not sure what you’re talking about, I just assumed you were new to baseball because you were comparing starting pitchers and relievers. I personally think the Nico card is better though.
