I’m basically talking about Halverson, who’s been a bronze/common for a few years, and still get outlier. Maybe there’s others. Was playing couch vs a friend and he brought him out of the pen throwing 103 every pitch.

Why are all these common pitchers able to have outlier? I’m pretty sure if they were throwing 103 every pitch, they wouldn’t be a scrub.

Or you’ve got overweight 1b jumping like their MJ and making grabs they wouldn’t in real games. In Showdown, I get it, they want it to be harder, but when I’m grinding on Rookie, against the lowest ranked teams, they shouldn’t be pulling web gems at least once an inning.

It definitely is for me. I don’t want to have a “chance” At a card, so I don’t play DQ. I don’t want to play on All-Star, so I won’t be getting that card that’s locked to MS. The WBC MS counts wins as losses sometimes, so I’ve given up on that, until fixed. I really don’t play online, especially since the Gamepass price hike. That leaves a few conquests where the rewards for repeating them aren’t that great, and the normal MS, if I’m grinding on DD. I’ve quit this game earlier and earlier every year and this one looks to be the same. Plus, I’m not including the horrible menus, the bugs that make me have to quit out and restart the game, etc.

I’ve played maybe 100-150 games so far this year. All offline, not an online player. I have yet to hear a hit that doesn’t sound like a ping pong ball being hit. Is it a bug on my end? Are there other batting sounds? Like last year, perfects sounded like a whip being cracked almost. This year, they sound… dull.

Anyone else having XP not count?

So it’s a St. Patrick’s pack or a Show pack. Laughable. Why so stingy with the rewards?

I love RoFlo. I watch him stream sometimes. He’s a funny, well spoken, decent dude. That said, his commentary is bland, trying too hard to be fourth wall breaking, and overall not good.

On the flip side of that, the normal commentary team hasn’t been updated like at all, it seems. They can say players names, but I haven’t heard any new lines. I have since turned the commentary off. If I had to hear about “garlic fries, yo!” One more time, it would’ve been my 13th reason.

I got banned from SDS twitch chat a few years ago. No excuse for whatever I did. (Not being facetious, it’s been a long time and I don’t remember.). I’d like to get unbanned and be able to contribute. Who would I have to speak to about that?

I’ll give two more:

1. Diamond Quest sucks. If I’m putting that much time into a mode, the rewards should be guaranteed. I don’t care about tanking the card price. Make them No Sell.

2. Conquest has taken at least two steps back this year. The shark map was good, only when compared to the other maps we have this year.

Last years TA model was better than this year.

Yeah. This so dumb. I get that the Yankees are the best franchise ever, but come on. We don’t need a new Yankee card every 4 days.

Yeah. I don’t understand not bumping his power at least some.

Is it just me or are good Posada cards ALWAYS behind a paywall/expensive collections?

Absolutely this. They did what everyone wanted but bringing back the power creep, but monetized more of the mode. Less cards in the program path, more in packs with a strong emphasis on the Collections. Just take a look at the TA path. Have there been any significant updates to it? Or are they just waiting for November to drop the Finest? There’s nothing between 365k and 1.4 mil. Not even a standard pack. I feel like most of the popular players (in my opinion) are either in a pack (Babe) or a collection (Jr.).

@RealMessiah_XBL this years TA has been ATROCIOUS. 3 cards on the path (4 if you count Color Storm), nothing between 365k and 1,415,000, and really nothing in the way of Conquests, Showdowns, etc. There isn’t even any XP rewards after the 30K mark. But, that’s been just about every program this year. Less cards on the reward path, more cards in packs with a collection in place.

There’s definitely a huge difference between Veteran vs CPU and Veteran Showdown/Conquest/DQ.
