@Teak2112_MLBTS
If it's decreased, then it had to have been much, MUCH WORSE. IT'S ALREADY VERY BAD. The complaints, I mean, not the PP outs. -
All fair points but I’m watching the gameplay not just a random small clip of people breaking their remotes. Point being I’m seeing the gameplay as well. I agree no matter how bad something is you don’t need the extra theatrics but that wasn’t really the point of my post lol.
-
If I'm literally on the ball but it's not perfect, even with MAX POWER, apparently I hit the ball with a wet noodle.
-
When Littlemann17 is complaining about PCI shrinkage, you know it's bad.

@GoozeFn_PSN 22 and 3. So you have only played 25 total ranked games? Or do you just wait for weekend classic and play alot then? Either way 22 and 3 record is elite. Maybe a top 1 percent player. Ive said this before you top 1 percenters opinions are not relevant. You probably have great swings every at bat. So you dont care about what everyine else is saying. You are like the rich guy coming on here trying to gas light all the middle class folk.
No a top 1% player is around 200+ and 90 right now. And no he's a guy that probably runs a cronos or a lag so strictly plays BR or Events because he knows he'll get caught in 9 innings.

Not just him either. Kyle, Adam, koogs, chev all of them mention how it's a joke.

@Rhyno1986_XBL I’m 22-3. Not sure what you are looking at. I never won a single coop game using that glitch. In fact, I criticized SDS for not banning every single one of those cheaters. I’ve been playing this game since inception and many other baseball games before that. There is RNG, it’s just not nearly as big of a factor as losers make it seem. Stop blaming your losses on the game. We agree that it’s unacceptable for a problem like this to not get fixed in a timely matter, but getting rid of it altogether isn’t the answer.
Also interesting how you say you are 22-3 (mid August which means you never play ranked). Yet when you look up lifetime rank season ratings you don't even show up as having played a single game. This is in the in game MLB the Show search under home, standings stas and history while in DD.
-
@Rhyno1986_XBL If you’re referring to me, I’ve played exactly 1 game of BR this year and only because it was a mission in the first multiplayer program. I’m not good enough to go 10-0, so I simply don’t play that mode.
-
@Rhyno1986_XBL Not sure why it’s not showing accurately for you. Other people have mentioned my record before so some people can obviously see it. I explained my experience with ranked in an earlier post since you’re so interested in me. It would be great if you stop making completely baseless claims about me cheating.
-
@RealMessiah_XBL this years TA has been ATROCIOUS. 3 cards on the path (4 if you count Color Storm), nothing between 365k and 1,415,000, and really nothing in the way of Conquests, Showdowns, etc. There isn’t even any XP rewards after the 30K mark. But, that’s been just about every program this year. Less cards on the reward path, more cards in packs with a collection in place.
-
@GoozeFn_PSN this boils down to our previous conversations about the stats being completely incorrect. You think the stats are correct when they have refused to fix every single bug in the game this year including the wheel. Lets not forget people getting world series in co op by quiting, that literally is unforgiveable this year. How they can let 1000s of people make ws by cheating tells me all I need to know. So yes when we tell you the game play sucks and good inputs are going unrewarded consistently!! Its because its true. And why is it that you are seeing multiple players with 500 batting averages? Because they are boosting in online events, that's why. Because they decided to make events a boosting center this year instead of the 3 inning competitive game mode its always been. Total joke.
-
@Ditka06_MLBTS I don’t disagree with most of what you’re saying, but I have not seen a single instance of perfect perfects in game logs being incorrect. I watched mine for a week and the only one that wasn’t recorded was a random perfect perfect foul ball. I’ve also seen people’s records being inaccurate. In fact, I think it was yours that looked like 0-0 to me. My arguments aren’t relying on anyone’s record though. The difference between me and this other clown is I asked you if you have played ranked instead of jumping to the conclusion that you are a cheater or whatever nonsense this guy is claiming.
-
@GoozeFn_PSN well you know I never talk about perfect hits. Cause I do not come on here and exaggerate. You already know I do not do that.
-
@Ditka06_MLBTS The problem with people talking about good goods or close to goods or anything other than perfect perfects is that it’s subjective and unverifiable.
-
@GoozeFn_PSN yes im sure most of us know what a good, good looks like. Or an almost perfect. If the ball is almost in the center of the pci and the timing is great that's a good, good. Those inputs are not rewarding like in years past.

Personally I don’t play much online but when I do hitting is a mixed bag. I assume that’s a me thing. Sometimes I hit sometimes I don’t.
Offline though especially on lower level diffaculty the game isn’t fun anymore. Offline grinding was fun , you had to be somewhat patient and disciplined at the plate but mostly you could mindlessly grind and make progress
This year even down in the rookie ranks it seems like every at bat is a slog , and mind you I still score , I still hit and score runs but it just isn’t as fun. Non competitive pitch after non competitive pitch by the 61 common that’ll take you to 3-0 only to throw dots. Most of the time I still hit them , but the amount of time I have to throw away grinding on the easiest diffaculty is tedious.
Same goes for moments and showdowns. I don’t fail these very often , but I am a witness longer than I’m a player. This becomes especially tedious in moments and showdowns when you wait , wait , wait and then get the strike only to smash it for a loud fly out to the warning track.
I understand they need to extend content , but I would be more satisfied with higher pxp missions or stat missions rather than sucking the fun out of the experience in service of that.
Just my thoughts.

@RAisEdByGoAt_XBL I never really noticed all of these things until this year. I do not think this was part of the online play the past few years. I surely would have noticed. But its definitely here now.
LOL. I've been posting about these things for years. There is an issue with fast internet and has been for quite some time. People on here said I was an idiot. I'm extremely far from being an idiot. I am very analytical and I played the game at a very high level. I know what I see.
-
@DemIsE4_XBL so whoever has faster internet speeds is at a disadvantage? Thats wack! They need to get their own dedicated servers.
-
@Ditka06_MLBTS Played a ranked game tonight on all star and it was miserable. I said it isn't about winning. I won but the game wasn't fun. Ryan throwing 120 mph on all star. Opponent was hitting like .200 with everyone. Still managed 3 runs on 2 hits while taking 20 balls an inch off the plate. Yes, when you have high speed internet it feels like you are throwing slow pitch softball most games while trying to hit 120 mph blitz balls.
I definitely don't see me playing when BF6 comes out. I haven't even done the last 2 spotlights or the Wright program after doing everything before. My favorite player of all time (Brett) came out and don't have him or zero desire to grind for him. That's where I'm at with this game. I was planning on playing WC but not sure at this point.

I don't play enough online to have much of an opinion or suggestion other than I've tried playing DD online on four different Internets in two different residences (mostly '23 and '24) and I've never felt like it played that smoothly. Fielding and base running responses are too slow. No urgency whatsoever.
That said...maybe try a game on Online Rated and see if it's just the game entirely or the DD mode? Could DD have too many things in it? Try cleaning out the PS5 (edit or xbox)? Make sure your controller settings are set to hardwired and not bluetooth (supposedly it's not enough to just play hardwired while the system controller settings are set to Bluetooth...I don't know).
