Yes there is a fix.
When starting a new save without closing the game and start it again the latest rosters will not load. What you see is the default rosters (in the new save with the Padres).

Thanks once again for getting back to me on that. I’m waiting to start a franchise but the rosters I’m going to use haven’t dropped yet so still waiting on those at this point I’m hoping they are going to keep me playing. Might just skip spring training because there is really not a reason to play through it but I still think this game needs a better player training in franchise and a real benefit to spring training it’s been missing from this game for a long time.
No problems at all, just fun to help a fellow franchise player.
I think this version of The Show is very good when we talk gameplay alone. It have holes in franchise but i must say i’m hooked to the mode, in short having lots of fun playing it. Hopefully some of the software issues reported will get patched (are not that many) & that SDS really doing something to Franchise mode in the coming years. The foundation for it is so strong.
Good luck when it’s time for franchise!

Hmm, maybe mid may or something like that. I play with Kansas and can give you an example - Bobby Witt Jr started as 71 overall and in august he is 73 overall. I am also fairy confident i saw progression/regression earlier than mid may on some players but in may/june it took off.
I play on PS5 if that have any importance. Probably not.
Thanks for the reply on that, did you play through spring training at all notice any player progression/regression there???
If you talk about the first spring training, before the 2021 season i simed that, day for day, game for game.
Can’t remember any development in player attributes during that stage of the season unfortunately.

I think this is not an issue at all. When viewing players from the training screen position players appear to have no progression / regression but when entering the "player card" development occurs.
It's an issue you can't see it directly from the training screen but development is there, a click away. Have almost played a season and have no problem with the development in pitchers, catchers and position players.
Hello!
I take part in every game during a season - if the last 45 days of the season have no realistic value to play then i sim.
I play and using quick sim every game. I have a schedule that i follow. This is the innings i play manually...
Also have some rules when to quit manual play and quick sim. When down certain runs in certain innings.
@zovuna_psn said in With morale gone how to track happiness?:
What I do now is ask the player if he's happy. If he doesn't answer, then I assume he's happy.:)
Hahaha
Thanks for the reply!
Hello!
With morale gone from Franchise mode - how can i get indications of a player want to leave? not happy with a contract? or role?
When contract negotiations are done and a role is agreed. How do i know if the player is happy with my promises?
Have not played a full season yet, not even half of a season so maybe answers will come.
Thanks in advance!
First of all thanks for a great game as always.
One thing is a bit annoying for me - when going to quick manage [in game] the cpu is very aggressive when it comes to auto pitching changes. I think it should be my call to make not the cpu. Especially when i have all options set to manual in mode specific options.
When the cpu make changes it takes away some realism and playing every inning of every game is not realistic for me.
@blind_bleeder said in Stop CPU changing pitchers?:
This drives me crazy because sometimes I'll put my closer in at the top of 7 so he can get a three inning save (when I have a large lead) and I have to watch carefully to make sure the CPU doesn't get someone warming up in the pen.
What I do is keep checking the pen to make sure nobody is warming up and if there is, sit them down.
Many thanks for the reply!
I will keep that in mind. It makes sense to keep a close eye at the bullpen. Not perfect but at least a possible solution.
Thanks!
Hello!
First time poster here.
I have a question regarding quick manage. I like to play 2-3 innings a game and using quick manage combined.
I'm fairly new to the game i should say.
My question: Can i stop the CPU from changing pitchers when quick managing?
Many thanks in advance.
