I just got done with live chat support as I was in the same situation. My issue was I apparently bought stubs for the PS5 version of the game when I play on the PS4 version. I was not aware there were different packages for each version so that is something to be on the lookout for. There is also no way to tell if you bought them for PS4 or PS5 as far as I can tell because it does not specify in the confirmation email. They were able to process a refund for me while in the live chat.
