Your #1 question/point is my main beef with this game! It's not critical to the game play, but exactly what you said, why do I have to look at this awful equipment design just to get the point boosts.

Any news about this being fixed? It is super annoying when you want the stat boosts but wanna hide the gear so my red sox player doesn't have to wear bright green or 42 gray socks all the time. Also I'm a two way player and when I pitch I have to wear a comp sleeve caus its equiped. (Not sure it these are allowed on pitchers in the majors)
