Yes I'm old. I'm a 64yo man who has played the show since 2015 and as a lifelong baseball fan probably have a different perspective then the usual age group that plays this game. Growing up with a family that held season tickets for the orioles for many years I attended alot of games and saw alot of the legends play in person. People who play the show have different reasons for playing and find enjoyment in the game for different reasons. For me it's the nostalgia and using alot of players I got to see in person who at the time were just ballplayers trying to make it and then went on to become hall of farmers. I'm not a good player and play online minimally but still enjoy it win or lose. I'm sure there aren't many people my age who play but for the true baseball fan you can't beat it. There are people who play just to win at all costs and will dashboard if they don't but I just laugh at that and move on to the next game. Anyway I just wanted to share that even though video games are geared towards the younger generation there are still some old timers who jump in to have some fun also. I've thought about doing a YouTube channel geared towards the older crowd who play this game but not sure if enough older people play. Thank you SDS for providing many hours of enjoyment.

I should know this but don't. Are mini series goals other than playoff or winning the championship still available as you go thru the playoffs? Such ss goal to hit 50 or 75 HR.

Thanks for the advice. Will try that.

Is it just me or does Adam Ottavino get rocked? I realize I'm not a good player but this guy gets hit hard every time I use him. Maybe I just don't know how to pitch with him.

You go to assorted programs the player programs then on Allen and complete the program to get the card.

You have to do the swim move where you avoid the tag. There's a few videos on it on YouTube.

I'm 63yo and still really enjoy the game. Also had to give up on the zone hitting which makes me not as competitive in online play but still really enjoy a good ranked game with a evenly matched opponent. It's not about how good you are it's about how much fun your having.

Thank you. Got it

I'm PS-5 and PS-plus but no summer bundle in the show shop. Is it anywhere else? Thanks in advance for any help.

Is anyone else getting disconnected in conquest games or is it just my problem. Has happened last 5 times I've tried playing the new conquest.

I locked in 3 that I bought. Was my mistake I guess. Just thought I'd be able to sell the dupes since they are all on the market. I was wrong.

I bought a few of the POM cards to get a jump on getting the PXP required thinking When I got to the end I would sell the dupes back. I did the collection. But it says I have 2 but neither are sellable. Not sure why. Anyone else tried this?

I think with rutschman being the no 1 prospect in mlb now he will be the future stars for orioles.

Glad to hear your doing better MRAD. Home myself with a disability and like you this game has got me thru some tough times. I realize all the complaints but for me this game has been a godsend.

I got lucky. Bought 5 headliner packs for $37,500 and pulled him in one of the packs.

In all fairness SDS did say they would adjust the cap if they felt it needed to be.

Not complaining because it is what it is but a good example is I always wake up early and like to play 2 or 3 games vs CPU to relax and drink my coffee. Usually a game nets me roughly 5000 xp. If I play 3 games that's 15,000 xp. This morning I saw this xp cap but dont want to play those CPU games because I'm only allowed 35,000 for the day and finished 5th inning about 10 days ago. But playing would use up 15,000 xp that I cant get later when 6th inning drops. Seems like they wouldnt want to deter people from playing.

Could it be Willie Mays?

Just curious how everyone deals with friendly quits. My rule of thumb is although I dont like it if the game hasnt started yet I will give them the benefit of the doubt and accept. Or if I'm losing and they ask for one I will accept assuming they had something come up. But if I'm winning (which is rare) I wont accept. I'm not a very good player online so if I'm actually able to take a lead I'm not gonna give it away because someone dosent want to take a loss. I can actually say I've never asked for a friendly quit. Just wondering what everyone's take is on this. Happens almost every online game I play.
