They need to give more XP for actually playing ranked seasons. You could play two full ranked games every day and never sniff a boss all year.

It will be a fun bench player that you can pinch hit, and leave in to pitch.

I literally only play ranked seasons, a game or two per night. I probably won’t even get to the first future star pack in the program like this.
It sucks that they have to put the XP rewards so far out to battle XP exploits … making normal players have to grind exploits in order to achieve anything

Because after his upgrade this week, his LS with inside edge will likely be as good, or better, than a 95 overall lighting card would have been … making it pointless

It definitely changes game to game.
One game, I’ll be on Allstar and have to cheat on 93 to not be late. Then, move my equipment outside, switch to WiFi with 2 bars, play on HOF, and have to slow down because I keep yanking 102mph foul. It’s wild.

I really believe you are more likely to be successful with an average fielder on a diving play, than a normal fielding animation.

It doesn’t work. That is why there are 4-5 post on the front page here every day saying such.

I got in a game with another Xbox user (I just switched to series x this year) and put the frame counter on with my CX. 120hz setting using VRR. It was showing steady at about 118-119 was the rate.
Will try again when I match up with a PS player to see if it’s different.

It’s nuts that the animation of a 60 fielding guy coming out of a dive is faster to 1B than a 99 fielder coming out of a backhand grab without diving.

The timing “window” for what is considered good timing on a pitch is always the same length of time. What changes is how close that windows opening is to the release of the pitch, and the reason that changes is because of lag. Server, connection, and input lag. If there is so much of it, the window can move so far up that it begins at the release of the pitch.
For example. If on HOF the timing window for a 100mph FB starts at 0.2 seconds and ends at 0.22 seconds from pitch release, but the combined amount of lag is 200ms … you only have 20ms to read and react to the pitch … you basically have to guess.

I switched to a series X for this year and play on a 77” LG CX at 120hz and VRR. It’s awesome, gameplay issues aside.

I know bloops happen but the rate in this game is astronomically high. It’s got to be the most common hit in the game. You are just as likely to very late bloop a ball inside off the plate for a hit as you are a solid line drive

Sinkers are basically a visual glitch in the game the way they come out of a pitchers hand, and have been that way for a few years now.
You will almost always be late on a sinker if you aren’t ready for it because the first few frames out the pitchers hand tells your brain “offspeed”.

I wouldn’t do that on full release (haha) night. The servers are about to get hammered
