It is the absolute void of any mention of the problems that gets me. Things happen, but it would be extremely nice to know they are at least working on it. Instead...

Got one, did it, everything fine as of now.

I did buy one without a heat sink, bought that seperately, then put the two together. The price was dramatically different that way. Problem is, never did it before, so I am assuming I did it right but honestly don't know. I remember thinking, 'Well, if it melts, I did it wrong."

Seemed like it was right, but I would go for one with a heat-sink already just to avoid the "I hope I did it right" feeling.

Installation was easy, got 2 TB, still have plenty of room after doing it shortly after you could( 6 months or 8 months ago or something).

Overall, do it...storage is way to small. Everything went fine in installation, has worked fine since doing it, I just remember wondering if I put the heat sink on the right way or backwards (and if that even matters) becuase it wasn't super clear. Buy one with heat-sink if possible, but everything else makes me say 100% to go ahead and do it. Pretty easy except that (possible) backwards thing.

I have used ''no feedback'' guess pitch for a long time. Last year I posted this, and some (idiot) said, "Can't you just turn it off?" It is the fact that a feature of this game suddenly works incorrectly, and now has for 2 years in a row.

I think you should be given a slight bonus for correctly guessing things...I just like it that way. No feedback gave me, wait for it, NO FEEDBACK on pitch location of type.

The main point here is that I bug report this several times last year; posted it on these forums about 1 time a month, and NOTHING changed during the whole MLB The Show 21.

In the tech test, it was still wrong.

Now, a 2nd full release of this game came out, the developers have time to add in 2v2 and 3v3 coop, but no one can simply turn off the feedback for "NO FEEDBACK." At this point, it really makes me wonder what else 'under the hood' is just ignored or changed since this went to a multi-platform game.

I wish they put work into FRANCHISE (your own custom league size; custom schedules; playoff formats; 3rd maybe 4th jerseys for custom teams; ability to import LOGOS/Wordmarks; universal editor {so I can make all players show socks by editing ONE instead of 800 or so players EVERY [censored] year!}; several of the options they have in super mega baseball 3, or even had way back in HIGH HEAT '01), and they have made a stadium creator, thank goodness, it is awesome. The R3 button now shows the defensive WITH players names, the way the ball comes off the bat seems improved on "odd" contacts, every year they put enough updated stuff to make it better than to go back to last year's game.

The fact that they added Switch and 2v2 and 3v3 coop, and yet for over a year they have ignored "No Feedback" gives you feedback. I have put in multiple bug reports, and complained constantly here. There is no way they would not know unless it was being ignored or put aside.

C'mon, SD Studios...NO FEEDBACK gives you feedback on every pitch/location. FIX it before working on other stuff...I honestly thought you were a better (and more thorough) company than to take a feature that worked perfectly for a decade and ignore that it is now broken for over 2 iterations of this game.

I've heavily thought about quitting this forum now, but I did get unbanned. I am not even sure why I was banned; made a thread about being excited a certain bug might get fixed; it was deleted; made a new thread about that deletion and tried to "chat" with the guy who deleted both threads. Next time I logged on I was banned.

Sent email and contacted through the report bug thing, no one ever answered and now I am no longer banned. This is some of the most ridiculous behavior I have seen on a forum.

Still have no idea why I was banned or why the threads were deleted. To be honest, ONLY reason I answered is because it was the Owl man asking!

Hopefully we get the update this week because I'd really like to start my Franchise. The game has been out almost a month...
Also here's hoping for Force 3 catchers gear. There's more than a few players wearing the brand.

I’m curious why is it you’re waiting to start a franchise until every little equipment detail is satisfactory to your liking? Why not start a franchise now instead of waiting for something that may never come? Because equipment when updated is also updated in your active franchise mode.

I'm going to have to spend a few days updating 1200+ players because SDS doesn't put the correct stuff on the correct people. If you do that outside of franchise then you can use that roster file for anything you wish. If you update the players equipment inside of franchise then the edits will only be present inside that one particular save file.

Why is it you need to update every single player most of which you won’t see very much. I find it odd this sort of thing is preventing you from enjoying the game. Why even buy the game if this is the case?

REALISM my dude...

Only one flaw for me there; it is not REAL, it is a video game. Why have real in a simulation? In a way, that is the entire point of the game, to do it YOUR way.

IMO any & all of the banned players should be in the game because again It is a video game purchased by the fans who want to use these players. Which also would include ....

Where did you find him? I’d love to do that too! Met him in person, really nice!

Just went to the player vault and go him from a search. The person had him all 99, which I disagree with (Rose=99 power, yeah right), so I just edited it to more what I thought he should have.

I fully agree and think it is just "bush-league" to not have an import option, especially after 5+ years on the ps5.

I do think they spend way too much time focused on on-line play, and Franchise is pretty much what it was 8 years ago.
