I do think the creator community at large is bigger than most realize. I just wish SDS would see that too…it’s such an untapped section of the game that could ad so much more immersion to something like Franchise…imagine part of the action in Franchise is to lobby for a new ballpark, and you get to design everything- from bullpen placement to building your own batter’s eye, to custom foul ground. Seamless connections and trim points to make everything look so nice and clean

Last time they put a video out on Twitter to show off standing room fans. It wasn't on the big streams or anything. It's a bummer the SC community is such a small niche.

One of the guys in my discord asked in the sds twitch stream chat today about stadium creator and one of the mods in the chat said there was no updates as of now

That's weird. Idk. I haven't experienced any of the vault glitches that people seem to be getting this year

Just search window and they'll pop up. Then you can switch that window prop to any of the outfield wall props. I'm guessing it'll be fine in 26 maybe not, who knows

Thanks! I built it off stream but showed it off like a week ago. Forgot to upload it until yesterday or something like that. Would've done more with the skyline but got pressed for memory at the end.

I do but it's usually more than most people want to pay because it takes so long to make a good stadium. I got a few streamers already asking for new stadiums or remakes of ones I did for them since they aren't carrying over. You can always jump into my discord and ask the guys there too. They usually jump at the chance to build something for someone. They like a good challenge.

Hey I appreciate the kind words! Just a heads up I changed my PSN name to StadiumsCenter so you'll have to search the vault under that instead of Suel21. Phil's stadium of the year live stream is planned for the 17th. We're all kinda guessing ObituaryTurtle is going to win it but there were definitely a lot of great stadiums this year. I'm going to be a judge so I'm not entering any of my builds. My best was probably the one I built for Flank though.

I honestly think if you want to see real changes to SC, you're gonna need to get the big diamond dynasty streamers talking about it out something along those lines. Either way, changes/updates this year or not, I'll still continue creating SC content and showing off everyone's creations. Maybe we'll get lucky and they'll notice the great stadiums that people who love the feature create and be more motivated to give us some new updates.

I couldn't have said it any better myself, this is spot on.

I 100% agree with the frustrations on it. I always talk about stuff I'd like to see in the game when I stream with people in chat and how they could do x, y, and z. However, if you're going to say "when a company of any kind says one thing and continuously does another, it is my right as a paying consumer to call them out for it." They haven't promised anything officially in trailers or online to deceive you into the buying game for that purpose and then pulled back on it. Maybe I'm looking at it too much from a legal standpoint. I have posted my frustrations here about how they aren't really listening to what we want too. I ranted a bit on here when the futuristic props came out about how we ask for certain things (bullpens on the field, no home run line, etc) Same stuff you guys talk about too. The post was called "SDS just proved they don't listen." But my overall point is that they haven't been deceptive to the consumer in any way as far as I can tell. I'll stand here with you guys and back you up that we aren't getting the updates we'd like to see all day though.

They haven't broken any promises or failed to do anything with stadium creator that they said they would...

@Dolenz_PSN right? It's a bit more like a kid complaining about not getting what they want from their parents then claiming they have terrible parents when they don't get it...

@Sarge1387_PSN yea I'm not expecting anything, just hoping. At least in 24 we got 2 decent prop packs. I didn't care for the futuristic one much

Perhaps. It would be great to be able to edit foul territory and have more tools but I'm a guy who builds one stadium and then I play hundreds of games in franchise - manage mode. If it's the exact same tool box it's just a tedious exercise to try to end up where I am now.

I get this. Not every person desires to spend the time needed to customize the entire stadium wall layout. But, isn't there attraction to downloading a precisely accurate stadium of the first ballparks to feature walls in the outfield and down the baselines, and play them in Exhibition, or RTTS, or Franchise games? You'd be amazed what a difference this makes in how baseball plays out.

You start to figure out real quick why players like Honus Wagner and Ty Cobb hit like they did. The ability to hit line drives was so critical as if you hit a fly ball, no matter how hard, it was going to get caught for an out. There is no other option for people living in 2026 (or last year) to experience that historic reality, except to play it out in a video game.

I don't see how a company that has a sole source contract with MLB could turn their backs on this option. I used the wall option to create highly accurate stadiums that the original Cincinnati Red Stockings played in -- the world's first professional baseball team, and the team that became the Boston, then Milwaukee, then Atlanta Braves. For added value, I created the first park that the fledgling Boston Braves played in and it is a seriously different stadium experience, but it is totally accurate.

So, SDS turned that option off for MLB 26. I sincerely hope SDS gets sent a sharp message. They certainly deserved it, and I anticipated what SDS would do, which is why I already made it known I won't be purchasing any future release of MLB The Show.

If I buy MLBTS26 I have to throw away my franchise and my stadium and start from scratch. I'm leaning against buying the new version unless gameplay has significantly improved but I wouldn't know that for sure unless I buy the game.

Just wait and check out the early reviews from people who get the early access. Probably the best thing to do if you're on the fence about it.
