CBrev is the only S-tier MLB The Show creator based on quality of content. A few others reach A-Tier (GutFoxx, Ance, and a couple of the popular dudes). People watch most of the popular guys for some other reason, not because of quality content related to the game. Some of these The Show "influencers" even brag about being toxic or having toxic players or using toxic stadiums. No need for that stuff in the game, let alone having the loudest voices brag about doing it all just for clicks.

This is straight up bullying by this douchebag. SDS are you going to let this go on forever?? This account does nothing but hassle people. There is no need for it. Do something about something. Seriously. You guys are losing people fast and this d-bag only makes things worse. Fix it! You can.

Desired Stadium Creator updates which may or may not already be planned for MLB The Show 2022.
- Give the ability to lock the shell of a shared created stadium. Share the bones of your work only if you choose to do so.
- Minimize the impact of Altitude so that high altitude stadiums don't just become HR Derby parks.
- More flexibility with the outfield wall dimensions in Competitive Safe stadiums. Impact the game in a fun or unique way (ie. Boston, Houston, San Fran, San Diego) with the goal of having good, fun games, not just hitting more homeruns.
- Improve the Upload, Save and Delete processes. Make it so it's no so easy to save over the top of another stadium when saving locally. It is my own fault, but it is way too easy to get confused and save over another file. And I did cry once after I did this. But we won't talk about that
- Larger storage capacity per stadium, and/or props with smaller file sizes.
- More props & stuff (flags, furnishings, banners, signs, more fun colorful buildings, etc.)
- Overhaul the Vault interface and functionality.
- Delete EVERYTHING currently in the vault and start over. Let everyone reload their final versions of the stadiums they previously uploaded, and then SDS must manage the upload process better.
Please and Thanks. Also, should we expect some of these things in an update this year, or maybe next year, or maybe not at all? Thanks.

How about if we are given the option to set two starting lineups, one for a righty, one for a lefty. Then, based on the starting pitcher of the team we get matched with, we automatically use the lineup associated with that handed pitcher. Franchise has something similar. You set four lineups based on pitcher handedness and DH/no DH. Then when playing against computer, it picks the correct lineup. We could use the same type of flexibility in Ranked Seasons.

@osimp8_psn said in Any other Pure Analog Hitters Out There?:
Just wanted to see what others who use Pure Analog Hitting are thinking of the game so far this year. Seems to be a lot more difficult to get solid hits. Double plays, mile high fly balls, and pop-ups to the catcher are very common occurrences for me this year. How about you guys?
Pure Analog Hitting and Pitching 100% for me. There are a few player cards that are doing much better for me than versions did last year. I couldn't hit with Ruth or Griffey last year, but have been doing much better with them this year. I think my technique is improving with 21, but it's still very difficult to succeed against higher level pitchers who can dot. I am currently 29-25 in Ranked Seasons with highest rating of 605. In 2020, I made it to 675 and was one win from Division Series. I will be making Division series this year with my eyes on Championship Series.

For sure that helps. Thanks. I will check it out. That might be just what I am looking for.

I've put MANY hours into creating stadiums which are unique, fun to play, and usable in DD. Currently, others can download my designs, change the name and maybe a detail or two, and then claim the stadium as their own.
There are already many examples of this happening within the vault. Please provide the ability to lock the stadium when sharing to the vault so that people can use the shell of the stadium, but not have access to the bones of the work.
A designer's hard work should not be so easily copied/pasted/stolen by others. -
I play Pure Analog hitting and pitching. Currently 56-47 in Ranked Seasons with highest rating of 660. Not great, but it's a fair amount of online gameplay experience. I still can not hit. But, in my 100ish games played, I have rarely experienced the bad things that seem to be the focus of most posts here. I have had two freeze offs. One was a critical game for me that I should have gotten the win, but I had to gave in because I wanted to play the game. The other happened on the third out of the bottom of the ninth. I was beat, so I gave in and quit. Otherwise, I do not experience the crappy game play like seems to be so many others' experiences. I think the game is great, AND it does need some fixes for sure. I know. Nobody likes me because I'm not complaining with everybody else. The communication from SDS to it's community about real questions and real issues could improve drastically, which might help minimize the band wagon yelping, and keep focus on the good stuff. Sometimes a little bit of information goes a long way. One answer to your question Swissy is... Practice. And, watch CBrev.

Best games/moments I've experienced at the ballpark:
-
Barry Bonds hitting #755 to tie Hank Aaron at Petco in San Diego.
-
Deon Sanders getting a triple at Candlestick. Fastest man I have ever seen.
-
George Brett hitting a line drive single to left-center, rounding first base aggressively, clapping his hands and slide-stepping back to first. (Oakland Coliseum, 1993). One of my first baseball games. The only time I saw him play.
-
The Kansas City Royals beating the Los Angeles Angels in Game 2 of the AL Division Series 2014 in Anaheim. Hosmer hits a HR in extras to take the lead. This is my best moment, by far.
-
The Kansas City Royals losing to the San Francisco Giants in Game 4 of the World Series 2014 at ATT in SF. Painful.
-
That time an entire section of Angel Stadium booed me because I stood up and clapped for a solo shot in the 2nd inning from Royals catcher John Buck (while wearing a KC hat and t-shirt).
-
That time an entire section of Oakland Coliseum booed me for catching a Craig Paquette foul ball (while wearing a KC hat and t-shirt).
I love baseball.

Surprised to see "Ha"? But why? The lyrics are so perfectly appropriate for a game that is rated "All Audiences". Gun references. Drug references. Crime references. Perfect! MORE LIKE THIS!! MORE LIKE THIS!!!! Honestly I'm surprised Major League Baseball is ok with this from their exclusive video game partner. Do better at this SDS. You can. I'm sure of it.
You wanna run the block ha
You wanna be the only ***** with rocks ha
You keep your gun cocked ha
You count the money at the end of the night ha
You on a three day flight ha
You full of that diesel ha
You duckin' them people ha
Your face was on the news last night ha
You the one that robbed them little dudes out they shoes last night ha
You don't go in the projects when it's dark ha
You claim you a thug and you ain't got no heart ha -
I love Baseball. I love The Show. I love the way you guys tap my passion for both so well.
I am sorry. I will focus on playing the game and keep my mouth shut from here on in.
It goes...
- Donkey Kong
- MLB The Show.
- Doesn't matter
This won't change. Thanks for the game.
