I actually had this happen to my Ty Cobb card and another card too not that long ago. It wasn’t the event thing, which I screwed up last year and learned from. Plus I haven’t even played in an event this year, nor had I used either card in RS in some time. It was seemingly just a straight glitch. I tried multiple times over maybe 10 days and they were always “in use”. Just gave up and then a few weeks later and it magically worked. Who knows...
I always put my fastest bench player on that last run. Could be a 60 overall with 98 speed and I could be pulling Mickey mantle out to do it, but once that winning run hits second I pinch run to avoid any of that
I did the same thing yesterday, I pulled FOF Turner after he hit a double and put in some random bronze 2nd baseman form the Diamondbacks who is 99/99...he stole third and with 2 outs he took home on a sac fly
I just love rage quits - makes me laugh every time …..especially when you go up 1-0 and they quit seriously why play lol
i agree 100% with you but to be the devils advocate for a second, we all have those moments where this game makes us lose our minds lol happens to the best of us if its a rare thing

last night in events i was losing my mind at what was going on rocket line drives hitting the pitcher and magically falling into an infielders glove on the rebound / inaccurate SCORE KEEPING (didn't even know this was a thing) - said i was up 4-0 when paused, but then 3-0 when in game = what a hot mess mate i wound up quitting my last game on some KNOBHEAD who was dragging out a 3 inning game like he wanted to be my friend for 2 years - pausing, taking 20 minutes to pitch a ball, and it was tied 2-2 before i just quit FK it
I had a mind boggling game like that recently before I could blink I was down 5-0 in the 3rd anything that could go wrong did , but I figured last game of the night ill stick it out it was actually comical at one point...… I end up bottom of the 9th inning 2nd and 3rd down by 2 ...2 outs kid has me 0-2 and hangs a slider to SS Trout ...Tank game over
lol ...... that sounds like an emotional rollercoaster .......
it makes me livid sometimes but we all get sucked into the wonderful game of baseball that we love so much
