Usually anyone who has turner/lofton leading off is more often than not bad at this game. Not cause the cards are bat at all (I like both) but because it reeks of a 🗑️ player who bunts all day. If I see that lineup I'm immediately setting my bunt defense on them before the ball comes out of the glove.
Normally I am totally in agreement but in this case I thought it was good strategy. Maybe they are not great, but at the end of the day they beat me with it. No bunt dancing, no pausing, just well executed strategy. You still have to get the bunt down right, get players moving etc. I picked him off once, but even that he corrected. It’s only cheese for me if people don’t take it seriously and just waste time.
I still stand by it. I allow absolutely zero bunts every single time I play bunt def & bring 2B in. Zero.
