@FRSTDWN_XBL it’s became the norm with most sports (if not all) games now. And for that matter a lot of the shooters are implementing, if not already implemented, the same kind of patterns in their game. I totally understand it’s a business in at the end of the day they do it to make money. It’s all became about catering to the Content Creators (free advertising) on YouTube/Twitch and the people that are playing the games and dumping more money on top of the original purchase price to get the game. That has turned a big payday once a year or every other year, into a somewhat consistent revenue stream for the life cycle of the game. Its sad to see in some aspects but has also given longevity into the life cycle of games as well.
