I’m 49 and it is really cool to see dudes my age and older still playing. I can remember when I didn’t even want people knowing I still gamed. Well, I didn’t go out of my way to tell em’. Anyway I made Pennant this year once so far. Last I made it to whatever the next one up is for 1 game and was sent packing back down… lol. I have been doing a lot of HR Derby this year, number 18 or 19 on the leaderboard, and it has helped my timing a great deal. Another tip I have for ya older players. Get a DualShock Edge controller. You can adjust the response times on the sticks. I know it has helped me a bunch. Maybe it may help ya’ll as well. Kinda pricey though.

Was wondering if anybody has been able to break 28 Hr in a round…( I see the leaderboard and some of the numbers up on that are suspect! I mean I can’t approach those amounts in a round, and some of the distances are well, crazy. I had a round yesterday where I hit 26 and for some reason it didn’t count the next to last HR I hit. O well I know it’s definitely doable now. Just curious and wanted to see if maybe someone that has broke into the 29+ HR in a round would reply. Have a good one! Screenshot please! No pic no proof

@FRSTDWN_XBL it’s became the norm with most sports (if not all) games now. And for that matter a lot of the shooters are implementing, if not already implemented, the same kind of patterns in their game. I totally understand it’s a business in at the end of the day they do it to make money. It’s all became about catering to the Content Creators (free advertising) on YouTube/Twitch and the people that are playing the games and dumping more money on top of the original purchase price to get the game. That has turned a big payday once a year or every other year, into a somewhat consistent revenue stream for the life cycle of the game. Its sad to see in some aspects but has also given longevity into the life cycle of games as well.

I must totally agree. And I (for the first time actually decided to collect the players and obtain Sosa. So glad I did him (Sosa) first, now I know NOT to waist time or spend money on stubs to unlock Mark.

Have asked this question before, with no answer, a couple years back. I wondering why we cannot use custom camera view when in online PvP play? For the most part the views that they have as default pretty much cover all the bases. But being able to tweak the view a little one way or another would be beneficial. Maybe make it to where you can only adjust to a pre made custom view. That way nobody is sitting in a PvP online ranked game adjusting the view.

I was hung up on the Johny Bench 2 XBH moment for The Pennant Chase program for about 45 min. Even grabbed a video clip of the LF apparently hitting his nitrous switch to grab a laser to left. Some of these moments a just a touch suspect at times!

So where ya at on openings? Any still open? I’m on PS5

I’ve actually found it really weird and annoying as to why we can’t use custom batting views in online? Just didn’t think it would be a big deal if one person had one kind of custom view and the other team had a different one like we do now with the presets. It just doesn’t make any sense… is what it is I suppose.

Well it didn’t take long to see this whole “Set Specific Season” GARBAGE was exactly what I feared. Like 2k, TheShow has went the way of the “Money Suck” business model. I really appreciated that in years past SD Studio had for the most part kept the option to earn solid players that u could use all year. Still love playing the game. Just seems as every game developer out there now is fully committed to this style of $$$$$ above all else. lol! Remember when you bought a game in one transaction, with no need to drop another 2 or 300 bucks to access to all it had to offer! And don’t give me that, Git Good or Grind it out Bro BS… ya’ll with your afk scripts and trash. LOL

Happens all the time! Most recent example is with the Judge exchange. I go and begin selecting Yankee players I have for the exchange and it will not give me the option to exchange a player that is doing no events or on my active roster. And 85% of the time or more, it's a player who would reach the points necessary to finish all by itself! Anyone else have this issue?

P.S.
Make custom batting and pitching cameras USABLE ONLINE!!! Really don't see why this is an issue. But then again,,,,,I don't know alot about online servers and things of that nature.

My tv has a HDTV or PC,,,,wonder if PC mode would help. It does give it a somewhat more realistic look.

Is it possible in RS, online play in general, to come up with a way that would pit zone users against one another and the rest of us, who seems to be considered as trash to this community in general, against one another. Zone vs Zone,,,, Directional/Pure Analog vs Directional/Pure Analog. There is no denying that folks who are good at zone hitting have a huge advantage at the plate. And saying "get good" is just plain dismissive. The reality is no matter how much some people try they just don't have the hand eye to compete and just end up as cannon fodder that end up rage quitting and that's not fair to either player involved. IMO it just turns people,away that could be putting more money into SDS pocket.
