@PBA024156_PSN I’d buy this game on its own

Reckon I’m about 90% of the way there. Those left are cards I can’t be bothered to pay 100,000+ stubs for when I’ll never use them (Awards Matt Olson, WS Corey Seager) or a few I don’t know where to get them.

Skills Showcase S2 players - 93 rated; and 94 Mexico Series Altuve; for example.

@PaullyG24_PSN do player exchanges, a few conquest games in rookie and get the points for 10Ks or 5 hits with the right people, the easy moments (eg pitching a scoreless inning on veteran) and you’re done in no time? Ignore showdown and you’ll be there easy. Can always showdowns later if you’re bored but if you’re just grinding for the cards, don’t waste your time

@Capt-Clutch-2K24_PSN it’s not about being good, I agree. You can grind it enough and just from the PXP and getting enough strikeouts etc (even if you suck, someone will strike out each game) to get the max reward eventually. Might just take a while (coming from someone who spent forever getting Juan Marichal, only to never use him!!)

I know there’s another thread on this but I can’t find it - apologies. This is my last collection but can seem to only get 29/30 via the market. Assume the 30th (one gold and a couple of diamonds) is via a program somewhere, but I can’t see it having looked high and low. Anyone got any tips? Stubs no object if it’s just a case of buying it from somewhere…

@The-Libero_XBL if support doesn’t work, maybe try doing any remaining moments and see if the TA points you’d have gotten from it “jogs” the system into life? Not tried this myself but just an idea

@TrainerMatt21_PSN thank you. I think I get too blind to the stats rather than which cards I play better with. So I’d always take a 125/125 over a 120/121 even though the latter I might hit better with or just prefer as a player. I’ll try going with who I like for a bit than keep running out Mickey Mantle who is barely hitting .140 for me online!! Thanks again

Is S4 XP reward Bobby Witt the best SS card? Looks to be 95+ fielding, 99 speed, and strong hitting and vision stats. Is he the best in the game noting it’s a premium position?

@TheGoaler_PSN I prefer the current PXP method (as someone who only had 20 and this year’s 24). From memory the specific “hit X number of HRs” to prestige were difficult for worse players like me, whereas PXP allows us to consistently strike out and still get closer to levelling them up. Can see why prior Prestige would make it more of an achievement for someone to earn, rather than something everyone could achieve by throwing enough hours at it!

Now there aren’t restrictions on roster selection… what is the ultimate God Squad? Hoping it might help me get from a lowly 500s Ranked player over 600 for the first time! Thanks in advance

@Dolenz_PSN third base has been a constant problem for me in Ranked - fingers crossed Jose has good stats!

If it’s just for your lineup, it’s doable (I recommend #7) but low numbered pitchers are going to be the trouble.

I tried to make a team where you have 1-9 in the lineup, bench 10-13, rotation 14-18 and bullpen 19-25. Actually quite tricky but it can be done…

How does it work? You’re all online at certain times to play or are you all playing against the CPU on preset difficulty etc? Never done a league so sorry for stupid questions!

@ace_hardlight28_PSN which cards do you need? I have 3.5m stubs so can afford to easily sell some on the market at lowest price if we time it right…

Are season 3 cards still usable in season 4? Or only if they’re used as a Wild Card? Having finally got a squad I’m happy with, be good to know if I need to start from scratch!

@Easy_Duhz_It__PSN good point. I’d not considered their HOF cards who happen to be on other teams. Wikipedia says only Biggio and Bagwell in the Hall with their “primary team” as Houston. That seems mad to me but suppose it makes sense!!

@Easy_Duhz_It__PSN on that basis we should have an absurd number of Astros given their ALCS and playoff appearances in recent years. Don’t disagree with lots of Yankees by the way…
