When is the next update that will finish all these player models that aren’t finished yet? Like H. Kim, Addison barger, Spencer jones, Josh h. Smith (about time) , etc.

You guys did great with adding some players but can we please get the top prospects like Chase Dollander, BUBBA CHANDLER, BRAXTON ASHCRAFT, NICK KURTZ, chase burns, cam smith, Kristian Campbell, chase Meidroth, drake Baldwin, hursten waldrep, Jace Jung, Cade Horton, Edgar queros, Moises ballesteros, Christian Moore, etc? if they haven’t debuted yet they will soon.

And players like COLT KEITH, Jonathan Aranda, Justin slaten, Seth halvorsen, Jordan beck, AJ smith shawver, hunter Goodman, Wenceel Perez, Jose Soriano, Ben Joyce, keider montero, yariel rodriguez, Hayden birdsong, Daniel palencia, dedniel nunez, Luis peralta, brooks Baldwin, Tyler holton, Connor norby, Brant hurter, beau brieske, and Robert Garcia? Most have been playing for a couple/few years.

Hold all the random 30+ year old relievers you keep adding and all these random prospects like culpepper, Seaver, Gillen, and Brennan milone. Please give us guys that are actually gonna play soon. If not, give us max Clark, Ethan Holliday, walker Jenkins, Konnor griffin, noble Meyer, Sebastian Walcott, Charlie condon, and jack cagliogne!!!!

It seems like the devs know nothing about baseball other than DD. You guys realize the tigers have the best record in baseball right? You slept on them last year and added a bunch of people to the twins (zebby Matthews, David festa, brooks Lee) bc you thought they were gonna make the playoffs.

You’re still sleeping on the tigers!!!! Currently The best team in the league is STILL missing Colt Keith, Jace Jung, Wenceel Perez, Tyler holton, Brant hurter, beau breiske, Bailey horn, etc. they all played for a couple seasons or last year and are still playing consistently……(Wenceel just got back from IR, went yard first AB back!) stop writing them off!!!

Get it together!!!!!! Show some love to the teams you neglect every year. The Rockies, white Sox, tigers, angels, marlins, nationals, pirates, I would probably even put the braves and Red socks, jays, rays, even the mariners.

Please hire some more people to work on things other than DD! The game has been crashing for a week and it’s literally the same game every year….. btw max clark is one of the top prospects in all of baseball. I think #7 currently. Can we get him, Bryce rainer, and walker jenkins rather than guys like Theo Gillen, Seaver, and culpepper ?

I agree. Not everyone wants to play a card game like pokemon and that’s what they’ve tuned it into. The only thing we as franchise players get every year is new face scans and new rosters. This year was sooo bad. They did virtually nothing graphics wise. Barely any new face scans added and players like Ryan McMahon, Alex Bergman, nico hoerner , etc have looked the same for years . I have a whole list of players they should’ve added last year and some they should’ve added this year that still arent in the game. Please so add to the list bc we as franchise players are being neglected.

I understand the majority of the people playing this game are doing the card game thing and probably won’t use most these players. For us franchise players, we love to have the prospects and younger guys in the game!!!!! Also if it doesn’t seem like a big deal to you, go try to edit a non face scan pitchers pitches. The change ups top out at 84, the fastballs 97, etc… it’s not realistic therefore we won’t use them. Plus they look like video game characters from 2012.

Here’s a complete list of everything you missed last year and this year. Please give us some guys from teams even if you don’t think they’re relevant. Fans from every team play this game not just the big market teams. (Detroit, Toronto, Colorado, Chicago white Sox, San Francisco giants, Chicago cubs, marlins, pirates, angels, nationals, etc) also, why do players always disappear randomly year after year? Jose castillo is still on AZ, Ryan Sloan was added last year now he’s gone etc….

Face scans are usually the only thing they ever give us graphics wise and this year was atrocious ! Most the guys on this list have been playing for a couple years. The lack of effort on the details of the game just shows they don’t care about realistic baseball games anymore bc everyone ate up this DD [censored]. I don’t want to play some battle royale card game. I want to play a realistic baseball franchise and I constantly have to restart bc SDs is too lazy to get face scans in 2025

Yall left him out for years!!!!! Finally add his model update to the game a month ago. Turn on the game today….. you wouldn’t believe it! Everyone is finished except for him!!!!! Forgot about him again lol. Please get more than one person working on these. It’s getting ridiculous. 3 months to add 8 players and still not done. So now we’re gonna have to wait another 3 weeks for you to finish Josh smith?

I agree completely. My love for baseball has kept me hopeful after last year and it only got much worse. ( when Bobby Witt Jr wasn’t on the cover I should’ve known it was gonna be bad) I honestly wish I wouldn’t have bought it this year bc I probably won’t even play the game. Definitely not buying anything after this year….. I love baseball tho, Always have and every year this game gets farther away from a realistic baseball game and more into a card game.

I don’t play DD. I’m a franchise guy and usually would play it after work when I was relaxing for a little bit. I can’t even play this game anymore bc so many top prospects missing and so many young players that have been consistently playing for 2/3 years are still missing. They don’t add relievers face scans or Dominican/Venezuelan/cuban pitchers at all.

They used to have all the top prospects in the game a year or two before they ever played a game. Now it’s all about DD and the super stars and legends in everyone’s line ups. They neglect anything in this game other than DD updates. Same graphics, same commentary, same equipment, they don’t change anything. Not even minor things like minor league stadiums (have been the same for years) they can’t figure out how to add bullpens in the stadium creator. It’s 2025 and they still have the same cheesy chains that don’t move at all, they’re always tucked in, and they’re only metal. Why would you add diamonds, or different sleeves like that garbage Nike sleeve no one ever wears. Haven’t seen that thing since 2020.

The most frustrating thing is we don’t get Nick Kurtz or jac cagliogne but we get Cade bunnell? Makes sense…. Still haven’t added Colt Keith, Justin slaten, Jose Soriano, Ben Joyce, Tyler holton, Jordan beck, hunter Goodman, etc. we don’t get the top prospects like chase dollander, bubba chandler, Noah Schultz, Cole young, Kristian Campbell, cam smith, chase burns, Christian Moore, max Clark, walker Jenkins, or Moises ballesteros but we get Ryan Sloan, Brennan milone, and Caleb lomavita???

These devs know absolutely nothing about baseball and it shows. It takes a couple minutes to google mlb top prospects but either they don’t care to update anything but DD programs anymore or they have one guy working on adding people and it’s pathetic. Still haven’t added Josh smith since they finally added a few players. Takes them months to add a few top prospects and Tyler Fitzgerald and Ryan walker who should’ve been added last year/2 years ago. Still not done tho….. super lazy and honestly pretty incompetent for a company that makes the only MLB video game. I wish EA or someone was still able to make a MLB game to at least give them some competition . Since they have none they give us the absolute minimum effort year after year. The same recycled game with DD updates. SDS ruined baseball video games for me. Hopefully GTA6 comes soon enough and I don’t have to buy this garbage anymore

@DTC1313_PSN thank you sir. I appreciate u and ur efforts but I’m well aware of all the new face scans and updated ones. I just think they didn’t really do much graphics wise (face scans) considering the lists I made. (Idk where they went, I’ll have to post them again.) I had one for face scans they should’ve had last year that still arent in the game and a list for guys this year they should’ve added along with everyone on the previous list. Even guys like Ryan McMahon who has had longer hair for 2 years, toglia same thing, Nico hoerner same thing etc…. They’ve completely gone away from a realistic baseball game and turned it into pokemon . We all didn’t wanna play pokemon and I don’t feel like restarting a franchise everytime they add new face scans that should’ve been done years ago .

I’ve been asking them for Jersey options for years. Why not just add a home and away jersey preset. So I can have my guy wearing white at home and the team color when away. I still have to change my players every home/away game.

It’s 2025 and they haven’t even figured that out yet. Pretty sure Major League Baseball had that option on PS1 when I was a kid. Also they should add a color wheel where we can make our own colors bc their colors are hideous. Esp their “light blue” it’s nothing close to baby or powder blue.

They did finally change the royals secondary color to powder blue. It was so cringey with that rusty gold/orange they had they literally no one ever wore.

Also they should bring back the large Nike and Jordan batting guards. Most of the DD players use that hitting view where you can’t see anything but the strike zone but a lot of us still like having realistic graphics. Confused why they even removed them. They could’ve just left them in the game.

Diamond necklaces and chains that actually move. They’re still the same from 8 years ago. Always tucked in, only metal, they don’t move when the player is moving lol. It’s 2025 and we’re on next gen but we still get the same recycled game over and over every year bc DD is all that matters to these devs.

It’s been weeks and the game is still crashing for a lot of people, the 8 players they did add aren’t even done yet, it took them years to add Josh smith and he’s still not done. The lack of effort in the minor details proves they’re done improving the game bc DD players settle for this garbage every year.

Imagine a baseball game in 2025 where the MVP and Multi generational talent is wearing generic batting gloves….. that’s mlb the show 25 for ya. Yall put the absolute minimum effort into this game. Even the smallest details that wouldn’t be too much to add like new Balance batting gloves, and batting gear. You do nothing for the graphics every year, you could at least give us some large Nike batting guard and the double strap Nike batting guard. Same with Jordan. And that Nike sleeve is awful. Haven’t seen anyone wear that thing since 2019. Hardly any new face scans this year. Stop abandoning the people who play this as a realistic baseball game. Not everyone hops online and plays against other people in that lame card game. You’re constantly updating the DD and dropping new content and programs for them. As far as the people who play it as a franchise and a realistic experience the game is almost dead. It’s literally the same game as last year besides u fixed the fielding so everyone isn’t a gold glover. Should’ve been fixed years ago. Oh and “ambush hitting” hardly a new feature lol. Please put some effort into making this game a little different. If the only thing ur gonna do for the graphics is face scans. Then give us some new face scans….stop recycling the same game over and over bc the DD players don’t mind. You’re ruining it for the rest of us.

@RedstickRebel_PSN well said. If they hired me it would all be done before the game released. I would even travel and go get the face scans since apparently they’re working with technology from 2012. How is Tyler Fitzgerald, Tyler holton, beau brieske, Jose Soriano, Justin Slaten, Wenceel Perez, colt Keith, Bowden Francis, Matt Shaw, will wagner, Joey loperfido, Jordan beck, hunter goodman, Brett Harris, Seth halvorsen, Landon knack, Kyle hurt, Justin wrobleski, victor vodnik and so many more that have been playing since last year or the year before still not in the game… all they will continue to do is content for DD. Franchise is dead, realistic baseball is dead, just some lame pokemon game now. 2k or EA have to get back in the MLB game somehow or I’ll never play a baseball game again. Thank god for GTA6 and a ton of good games coming soon. After today I’ve just accepted that this game is dead for franchise players. It’s been out almost a month and they haven’t touched the rosters

@AndyWilk09_PSN I thought I was the only person who edited everyone to make it realistic. From what they wear, to their pitch mix, velocity of pitches, break of pitches, attributes, etc….

@ralph13m_PSN yeah, I give up. Complete waste of time. All they do is update DD programs constantly. The rest is a recycled game that’s been neglected due to the pokemon card game everyone is playing.

I made a list of players still missing face scans after years or a year of playing in the MLB. Also included guys who have made their MLB debut this year or are projected to make their debut this year. Along with that, I’ve added players like Garrett crochet, adley rutschman, and Ryan McMahon who desperately need an update and some of the top prospects in the game.

Small market teams need love too! Plenty fans of the teams you find “irrelevant” playing this game.

Not everyone plays the game the same way. I don’t play H2H online against people. I play franchise to relax after work and I’m not worried about rosters or attributes I just want face scans of younger guys so it doesn’t turn into a league of players without face scans so fast. I usually restart when it gets to that point.

Hardly added any since 24, games been out for a couple months. Still nothing ! SDS is a joke !!!! You won’t see me back on these forums bc I’m done with this recycled game by this garbage company

i agree. I think it’s bc the devs don’t really know anything about baseball. all they know is what DD has taught them. They even found a way to turn baseball into some card game for all the nerds. Starting to think DD is for dungeons and dragons.

Baseball is more than a H2H match up online against someone with the same roster full of the best players and that lame hitting view. So if DD is working and getting updated that’s all they care about.

Look how long it took them to add face scans for some of the top prospects. (They’re not even finished yet) I’m starting to think there’s one person working on this or that all these devs don’t really know anything about baseball. Like who the top prospects are or when they’re debuting.

Look at how many players are still missing that have been consistently playing for a couple/few years…. It’s because all they care to update are the super stars bc that’s all that’s in anyone’s line up on DD.

That’s all irrelevant to this post I guess but the crashing and how long it takes them to fix that or do anything really is crazy. They put the absolute minimum effort into this game other than DD. Nothing ever changes. The Equipment, The graphics, the commentary is almost identical, even the soundtrack screams woke, not basevall. They haven’t even figured out how to put bullpens in the stadium creator yet lol. It’s 2025! Still giving us the same recycled game year after year bc all these DD nerds are looking forward to their new “programs” and “drops” and ready to grind their next season!!! It’s a joke.
