Ahh..never mind. I started it over again and haven't made an out through the first Boss. Must have just been my ability level changed very drastically between the first game and the next 3. Couldn't have been the software. We know it is right on. wink..wink.

Yep, sure 'nuff, playing 3rd inning the first challenge and 'ol Eck just shut me down. Finished it off with the bases loaded in the 9th..double play out at home out at first.

I really blow! But, this game, it's spot on. You gotta love it's realism. Developers ought to really be proud of this piece of.....

I agree with the over saturation of Diamonds. They should be as rare as their namesake. 56 Golds seems appropriate. Maybe 15 diamonds. The rest Silvers, Bronze, and nada.

Typically don't play an RS game after April where every position player and pitching rotation are Diamonds. Does gut the value of the commodity.

I post a positive one now and then. It's just the fact there is SO much positivity out here..to the extent it's manipulative positive IMO, the forum needs a few cynics to light a fire.

I think you may have experienced something for sure, if you watch the pre-Launch dev video Chris Gill talks about how AI is smarter and harder. So what you are experiencing is competition.

I want to be challenged. I just don't want to be challenged to the extent when I select All-Star I get Legend. Like everyone else I want to get through Conquests, with enough challenge that it's not a completely boring commitment.

The way some maps are designed it's almost as if they nearly enforce you early on to play StealFans. I'm not a fan of playing it believe me. I do Conquest to knock out missions like everyone else then get the heck out of it so I can really get the Chef's Surprise in RS.

This software has a big problem with drawing the lines in it's difficulty levels. Fact.

Let me rephrase this so Ramone doesn't have an opening to go off on a tangent about how bad one of his customers plays the game.

I've been playing Conquest for years. As have many folks. In fact, it appears to be a starting point and favorite mode for many newbies and even seasoned players. A mode anyone that is affiliated with the game really needs to be aware of has some bugs.

I've noticed that I can play a team, in Steal Fans, on about any difficulty level and it all plays the same at times in that it plays at a Legend pace. In fact, I've went 7 innings in these games before the AI got a phantom couple hits and beat me. Now, this doesn't always happen in Steal Fans. But it happens enough that your customers notice it. It happens enough I know it to be a pattern. Ain't my first rodeo.

Further, I can immediately play the very same team that took me 7 innings and beat me on Veteran mode..I can play them on HoF mode and absolutely destroy them while conquering their stronghold. To the tune of scoring 5 runs early and just bunting for outs to progress the game as quickly as possible.

It's the VERY SAME FREAKIN' behavior as you experience in Moments or Showdown when its, supposedly, in rookie mode and everything you hit is an out and you're lucky to scratch out a run. Those modes are quite so wonky this year, so maybe my bishin last year helped. Wadda ya think? I like to think it did, and why I'm back.

I'M POINTING OUT THE FACT THAT THE GAME DOES NOT ALWAYS HONOR THE DIFFICULTY LEVEL YOU HAPPEN TO BE IN. IN FACT, BOYZ, IN CONQUEST IN STEAL FANS MODE IT DOESN'T SEEM TO ADHERE TO IT AT ALL.

I believe it to be a really structural defect in a core part of this game. That deficiency in adhering to it's own difficulty level. I point this out as well as I can so, maybe, it will be addressed. This for all of your customers that also play Conquest and wonder the same thing.

And I might be the worst player in the world and you might be the best, but I would fire your A$$ if I ran this company for some of the tactics you use on customers. Bullying and demeaning folks that want this game fixed is not at all what a CIO would want. Believe me..I know this.

It doesn't bother me so much as I just want to understand why? I've been playing with sports stats my whole life, and they've always made sense. When something doesn't make sense, it just brings out the "Why is that".

I know Bryant getting dropped in ratings will, very likely, not be reflected in the game anyway. I mean, I'm using 99 Wander Franco and he's batting below the Mendoza...John Lester is batting .250 with a couple HR's. I just would like to know where they come up with this stuff. I know I never will. But, it doesn't hurt to ask.

I made another post to prepare people for the demeaning prikes out here. Trying to pay it forward, so they don't feel bad about themselves when someone like you starts the passive-aggressive BS when someone complains about the game.

It's really not a cool thing to do, and you're pretty transparent. Seen it so many times. It's not just me..it's anyone on here that leaves a tiny little-bity opening that DH's (typically DH's with an agenda..and I don't mean Designated Hitters) can turnaround and suggest it's not the game..it's their terrible play.

It's called deflection. But, in a situation where you intentionally use demeaning tactics as a deflection it's pretty much not nice. What would your momma's think?

Funny guys. The 'ol let's embarrass the OP that attacks the game by suggesting we always beat the AI press. That's how we'll guarantee the integrity of the game and argue against bugs. Ain't working.

I've seen that ploy so many times over the years from the fan-boyz/gatekeepers. Probably some of your daddy's 10 years ago. Sure guys, you always win at Conquest. That's as ridiculous as saying you always win at RS. It's the same AI controlled experience.

But, if anyone (other than these big studs that always win at Conquest) else has run into this speak up. I would like to see it fixed myself.

Can't say I understand how they dropped Kris Bryant when he's still vying for MVP. Went a little dry the first 2 weeks of June, but he's still got much better offensive numbers than several of the diamonds. No, he's not batting .204 against righties.

He's batting .242 against right-handed pitchers. He's batting .382 against lefties. He's got 14 HR..7 against right..7 against left.

TatisJr. is batting only .213 against Lefties and only 4 hr's. Yet they didn't touch him in those categories. Left him at 69/88.

Bryant, again hitting for a much better average and almost twice the HR against righties was LOWERED to 65/66.

Made sure they raised Tatis against Righties 10 pts though in both power and contact.

Tatis hit .353 in May. He's dropped over 100 pts off his total BA in June to .247. Why would he get any bump..regardless of right/left split?

I mean when/where/how/date-range/etc. do they come up with this stuff? Don't they know that any person out here can also look at MLB stats and scratch their head at the decisions they make?

It's not like their awesome code that only they know the trade-secrets to. We can all look at the stats and some of us know stats pretty well.

Just these 2 instances, albeit a small sample set, indicates they throw darts in these instances. I'm sure they have some algorithm they use, but it's probably as hidden and silly as they one that power DD game results.
