These events have been fun. Gives you the opportunity to mix up your team and play with cards you normally wouldn't use. The fact that they're short games makes it less of a commitment time wise. If you view it from that standpoint, the awards are a bonus. Gotta look at the positives.

Middle infielders need to have more of a sense of urgency when turning two... The routine double play is far from "routine".

Start holding R2. That'll slow them down! Fight cheese with cheese! lol

But honestly, slow things down and take a few pitches. You'll be jumping all over him before you know it.

I did and wish I would have went Kluber. I have them both now and its not even close in terms of how much better Kluber is than Newhouser. Kluber is just so consistent and has a multiple "out" pitches. I feel this where Newhouser lacks. Dont get me wrong, dude is good but not Kluber good.

Definitely stick with him. It's easy to press with a card like that at first. I was hitting at around .100 with Sheff for my first 25+ games. I actually moved him to my bench. That average of his started getting in my head, even when pinch hitting. I had to stop pressing. He's now one of my best hitters... Mickey is amazing. Keep grinding and be patient.
