Stolen base animation glitch

Over the past few years I've noticed a bug that occurs where the baserunner will essentially reset his animation mid steal attempt completely taking away all his momentum. Over the past week it has been happening much more frequently. In fact it has now cost me 2 games during this current weekend classic. Will this bug ever be addressed?
