So, I did amazing today. I decided to buy 50 pack bundles until I pulled Trout, as long as I didn’t go below 150k stubs in the bank. I opened the Chase pack after buying each 50 bundle. Purple. Purple. Purple. Purple. Purple. Purple. Trout. Accidentally bought another 50 pack when I was trying to go and open my 350 standards (now 400). From those 400 standard, pulled 4-5 purples, a blue Ohtani, and one more Chase. Now with two Chase left, got a purple…. And another Trout. I really didn’t think it was possible. But it is possible. Started the day with 650,000 stubs and ended it with 1,850,000. So, if anyone wants to try their lottery luck, it CAN work. Just don’t EXPECT it to work. ‍️

I really wish SDS used the original Topps card art more often. I’ve only been here since ‘21, but I’ve noticed a significant reduction in original Topps cards. Could they be introducing all these new series so they have a catalog to use going forward when Topps ends its MLB contract next year?

Oh! I forgot! We gotta get Bob Uecker in there! Great piece of Brewers history, but also as an announcer, and Major League... he just really should be in the game.

And can we get some good classic music next year? Have they ever put Dire Straits' 'Walk of Life' in any of these games? That, to me, is like the quintessential baseball theme.

This game has brought me back to baseball. I collected cards when I was 10, but by 1992 I had completely left and had no interest. So, with The Show '21 last year, I've had to catch up on around 30 years of baseball. It's been a lot of work.

I would love to see more players from the 80's and earlier. I've only got 3 of the 1989 Athletics playable so far, so any additional ones would be nice!

I also second Jim Abbott. And Darryl Strawberry.

And give us the PEDs players! It's just a video game! Come on...

Need McGwire and Canseco!

With the breaking news that Topps will end its deal with the MLB at the end of 2022, does this mean that next year's MLB The Show will not have classic player Topps cards in DD? Or would that start in MLB The Show 23?

Or does it not have any effect on the classic cards that have already been in, and continue to be in DD for years now?

Is there any way (or hope) of getting cards for events that have passed? Specifically, the Roberto Alomar and Gary Sheffield ones from April and May Daily Moments. This is my first year really playing The Show, and I didn’t really get into DD until late May / early June as I was stuck in RTTS…

I love the older Topps cards from the 80’s and 90’s! Back when I collected cards as a kid. Now I gotta get ‘em all, digitally, as an adult!

Playing vs CPU, full 9 inning game. Trying to knock out some of the Team Affinity 3 requirements for the AL Central. PS5. Hardwired connection.

Three full games played. All 9 innings. Three times it's ended in:

Game Summary not found. NOTE: If your game ended due to a Friendly Quit it will be discarded.

I know people have complained about this in the past, but is there a fix? This is a little bit ridiculous that offline content doesn't count unless the game is connected to the server at the end of a game (or the entire game?). It's an OFFLINE match vs the CPU. Why is there any connection to THE SHOW ONLINE?

Any help appreciated, because I'm gonna lose it if this happens a fourth time today...
