Been digging the hell out of Space Marine 2 and the Dead Space remake. Better to shoot and chop [censored] up then try and grind away at Programs right now.

Once again, I learn something new. I didn't even know about Space Marine 2. I used to paint WH40K figures obsessively (even had a YouTube channel about it), but I kinda fell out of the hobby. Wouldn't mind playing the game this offseason though!

I am in the same boat but just with different games. I am a big fan of both those games, but I will warn you that if you are one of those people who can't leave any map marker un-explored then Hogwarts is a very long game. I really enjoyed it though and played it twice.

For me, I am currently invested in Dragon Age: The Veilguard. I am trying to get it done before Rise of the Golden Idol on the 12th and MS Flight Sim 2024 on the 19th.

Then later we have the Indiana Jones game and Path of Exile 2.

Holy cow I didn't even know there was an Indiana Jones game on the horizon, but I just looked it up and that looks fantastic. I will probably have to jump into that at some point, too.

I'm a big HP fan so I will probably love living in this world as long as possible. I linked the game with my HP account so it put me in Ravenclaw, but I can already tell I'm going to want to play again in different houses so I can explore the non-Gryffindor common rooms.

I usually have time for about 2 games in the offseason. I played Spider-man 2 and Horizon: Forbidden West last year between MLB cycles, and both of those were great. I'm pretty easy to please when it comes to video games. I grew up in the 90s on the SNES, so all of today's games already blow my mind.

I finished the WS program yesterday, and I see there's nothing much else to look forward to until the 22nd or so. I could grind away at the Extreme program, but (other than Goldy), I'm not really interested in any of the cards in that set.

I may pop back in for the Finest program and to take a look at what is in store for Season 4, but I think it's more likely that I'm going to tap out on MLB:TS 2024. I might stop in every now and then, but I'm probably outsies for the off-season. Overall I think 2024 was a misstep, but the gameplay has been pretty solid. I hope they make some big changes, but who am I kidding? I'll be pre-ordering 2025 as soon as the link goes live.

I think you usually make back more than 500 stubs in rewards along the way. I can see this being annoying in April, but anything under about 10,000 stubs doesn't even register in November.

Finest Shohei will probably be a collection reward. I assume Shohei and Judge will be MVPs and will get Finest cards, but they probably will be collections. That will leave room for a different player from NYY and LAD to get the regular Finest that will be part of the original 30 TA.

I don't understand why people hate showdown so much. When it was first introduced it was a headache. But it has gotten easier and easier every year. You could have finished showdown in the time it took to make this post.

I'm a White Sox fan and it's so weird seeing the expectations that other fan bases have. Last night my dad and I watched Game 5 and we both wondered if Boone's and Roberts's jobs were on the line if they didn't win the WS. We are both lifelong White Sox fans, and he's only seen them win it once (and he just celebrated his 71st birthday a few days ago). We would be thrilled with a division title or even if they snuck in through the wild card. Hearing fan bases say the season "meant nothing" after making it to the WS is crazy to me.

(though I do understand the disappointment when you get that close... I lived in AZ for a while and I've been a pretty big D-backs fan for the last 20 years, so I was super bummed that they made it so close but didn't win... but I would never say 2023 "meant nothing" or wasn't something to be proud of. I guess it's good to be a Yankees fan!)

That logo is actually a leaked image from within MLB. When the A's relocate, they are going to be the Las Vegas Spread Eagle Call Girls.

I assume there will be a postseason collection, and the reward will be whoever wins WS MVP. But you know what they say about people who assume. They're dumb.

And while they're at it, why don't they just scoot us all ahead to 350,000 XP on the program path and set it so we automatically finish every program just by turning on the playstation.

A moment should be a moment, not "get 16 TB in one game" with a team. That especially should be an optional moment, because that ain't a moment.

Well technically they are called MOMENTS, not Moment. The fact that they're plural kinda gives them free reign to do what they want with them.

And Moment is not a set period of time. One of the definitions is

"a comparatively brief period of time"

So by that definition a single game in a 162 game season is a moment.

Compared to the beginning of human civilization, all of organized baseball history is just a moment.

I finally got one!!! First time ever. Free Agent SP Nick Bennett. Doesn't look like he's ever appeared in a big league game, but he's at AAA for Milwaukee. I went hunting for a common SP FA who was still up for grabs about a month ago and I found this gentleman. Someone else also found him too and got to P2 and P3 but they gave up whilst I pressed on. I am the biggest Nick Bennett fan in the universe!

Why do you need an incentive? I will never understand this mindset that some people should have virtual toys that other people shouldn't have. It's a video game. The one thing that all of us has in common is that this is the least important thing in our entire lives.
