I doubt anyone at SDS even remembers MLBTS25 at this point.

Stop using Nick Kurtz as an example. If SDS had hindsight into what an absurd rookie season he would have they wouldn't have given him the early cards.
But they certainly dropped the ball with legends this year. Not just the Sniders of the world, but the new legends as well. Where was a Royals Beltran card? Where was Reggie Sanders as anything but a Red?
And four [censored] Allen cards all on the Phillies. He won an MVP with the White Sox! We have scant few MVPs in Sox history. To quote the greatest philosopher of our time, “this aggression will not stand, man!”

I would rather focus on quality than quantity. SDS always seems to add 3 or 4 guys each year who really don’t add anything to the game. I don’t mean to pick on this dude, but a guy like Rich Aurilia is just a big dud in terms of MLBTS. He was a fine ballplayer, but he doesn’t fit alongside Hall of Famers and superstars. Rather than add 3 or 4 players of that quality, just put that money toward one of the big dogs.
It seems like SDS has given up on the dead ball era players, which is such a bummer. In the last few years, we’ve lost Cobb, Hornsby, lefty grove, Walter Johnson, Christy Mathewson, Jimmie Foxx (not exactly a dead ball era guy, but close), and probably more who I’m forgetting. Baseball is a game that values its history and tradition. SDS actually plays a pretty big part in keeping that tradition alive for the younger generations. I think they’re really dropping the ball in a way. Kind of a bummer!
But I do applaud the effort they’re put into acquiring the Negro Leagues players — that’s been awesome. Now whether they’ve really done much with those players might be a different story… but I am very thankful to see them added to the roster of legends.

I hope the market goes back to usual this year. The sub-90 diamonds were nutso in 2025. I think the 88 ketel Marte was over 100K even late in the summer. I don’t think the market has ever been quite so overpriced in all the years I’ve been playing (since MLBTS19).
The white Sox should be interesting in terms of investments this year. Colson Montgomery, Kyle Teel, and Edgar Quero should all be pretty cheap out of the gate, but if they continue taking steps forward they could get some decent upgrades. I think Teel is the best of the bunch. Maybe he even reaches diamond this year! And if Montgomery continues his power surge then he’s going to shoot up in the ratings too. Murakami will probably be high bronze or low silver to start the year. He might have some investment potential too.
I’m getting excited for 26!! Put Corbin Carroll on the cover and I’ll officially be stoked.

Very nice! I have a Dbacks #1 fan icon. I am about 2 years away from getting one for the White Sox. Nowhere near it for any other clubs.
Go snakes!!

I don't have too many. But, while I try to get to the #1 Diamondbacks logo, I'll get all 4 Corbin Carroll cards to P5. @SchnauzerFace_MLBTS should be impressed.
I am impressed! I only have two Carrolls at P5. I wanted to get every Arizona LS and legend to P5, but I have kinda given up on that. I have a handful of bronze relievers that I still haven’t ever used, and the thought of getting all of them to P5 sounds… distressing.
I should probably make sure all my Ketel Martes are at P5, as this might be the last time he’s with the snakes. That is something I also find… distressing.

I’d like the game to not freeze up once per day when I go to the lineup screen. After that, they can do whatever.

I am not sure that I ever would have gotten that Icon.
I looked at my progress for every TA. The closest I am to "#1 Fan" is actually... the Cardinals. However, I'm light-years away from the "Clubhouse Leader" missions, which makes sense.
If I really want to get a "#1 Fan" icon, I think the Diamondbacks are actually doable for me. I spent a lot of time using the Carroll lighting card earlier in the year. I'm sure @SchnauzerFace_MLBTS would be impressed. GO SNAKES.
Hell yeah go snakes!!! I just got the #1 fan icon about a month ago. It doesn’t hurt that their all-time stat leaders aren’t overwhelming. You can do it!!

@SayHeyKid_SF_PSN Sad to hear that your panties get in a twist if someone asks you a question. That's good to know! Maybe if I ask another one it will twist in the opposite direction and will loosen up so you won't be butthurt anymore. So, my question is...Why did it take you 230 runs in 9 innings for you to figure out that way of getting PXP is "ultimately ridiculous"? Maybe, I'll ask another for good measure...If it took you less than 230 runs in 9 innings to figure out that was "ridiculous", why did you continue to play in such a "ridiculous" manner? Heck, one more...Wouldn't it be "ridiculous" to keep playing in a manner that you felt was "ridiculous" just to experience the "ultimately ridiculous"-ness of that type of gameplay? I hope one day you will find out what it is like to not be offended by simple questions.
Is this really how you spend your time? Who cares if someone else played an offline game at lagrassa? And I thought I was wasting my life lol. I’ve never seen someone get their split ham get so helplessly knotted up in their panties over absolutely nothing. Wow.

This feels like a bit of a lazy 10th inning program. I know we have the WS stuff and finest programs in the next week or so… but those are separate programs. This is a new inning and there’s very little to do. A conquest map would have been nice. Or stat grind program with the new Negro Leagues cards. I also wish they hadn’t stopped the cornerstone evolution programs, too. A mini season update would also have been appreciated.
-
They should put these out on launch day in 2026. If you pick the two correct teams in March then you should get a pretty substantial reward.
I’ve been craving tacos all day. I think I’m going to go get a taco.

I have seen this come up before and I’m not sure why this is a problem. The cpu should be better in October than April because now we all have god squads with 99s at every position. Not to mention most of us have been playing for 6 months, while many of us were still grinding off the rust back in April. If the cpu didn’t adapt and play a little better, we would win every game 18-1 or whatever and then it’s like what’s the point in even playing.

If they still allow that stadium where you can bunt home runs over the fence 4 feet from home plate then they don’t care.

500,000 in exchanges needed.

That's only like 500 plus commons and bronzes.
It's not like there isn't an easy way to add them all to the exchange at once...
Oh.. Wait...
Isn’t it 5,000 commons? Or am I doing math wrong again?

Why don’t you just buy 550 The Show packs, but make sure you’re only buying the ones that have 4 Judges in each pack. That should be good for about 1.85 million per pack (after tax). Multiply that by 550 and you’ve got 1,017,500,00.
From there, you’re going to want to buy 678,333 more The Show packs. This time, make sure you’re only buying the ones that have 4 Ohtanis in each pack. That should be valued at roughly 1.52 million per pack. After doing this 678,333 times, you’ll end up with 1.03107e12. That should be enough to buy more or less anything you want.
It’s a very simple strategy, but it works.
-
I see this brought up every now and then and I never understand why this makes people upset. At this stage, you’re either going to face a 99 SP or a 99 RP. Not sure why one is preferable to the other.

@Rhyno1986_XBL or hear me out. Wouldn't it be more fun and interesting if the decision to switch cards and form different teamswere strategic....instead of just "ok, I guess I'll play with this guy for a while to change it up"
Dude, they give you SO many reasons to do this. TA stat and PXP goals, stat grinds for every program (which drop at a minimum of one per week), themed mini seasons and events, captain bonuses for theme teams. I’m not really sure what other incentives you’re looking for? And, most importantly, I don’t know why we’re so dismissive of playing with new cards just to mix it up a bit. Trying out new cards just for fun should be more than enough incentive.
