I really wish showdown awarded pxp. I largely avoid it because I feel its so detached from the rest of the mode because of this.

That and the all or nothing of it is terrible game design considering these can take an hour to do. And the tutorial is not at all representative of the mode

2023 has a great forever season (by a large margin the best of the ones with open servers) but it does suck that Swanson is not earnable anymore.

Never mind I figured it out

Update, did the starter conquest maps and finished the starter program now working on the Season 3 chapter 1 conquest map, got my stub count up to 42k stubs then bought the jump start pack for 20k just to get more cards and diamond LS

The game was better with this glitch. They should have left it and made captains eligible on the bench next year.

Before one of the roster updates (when he was with the A's) he had a five pitch mix (cutter too). Even without it, he's definitely a hidden gem.

I was unbeaten in the regular season until I almost lost the last game. Ozzie Albies hit a 3-run HR in the first off Bob Gibson. Imagine that! We scored 3 in the bottom half. They went up 4-3 in the 3rd, but Tony Gwynn hit a no-doubt oppo to walk it off! I then cruised in the playoffs. We got the team that has Vlad Guerrero at catcher in the finals. We ran wild on him.

Never once paid attention to or cared about mini season stats. Having the same starting pitcher lose stamina that didn't pitch is a pain though. But then again all you gotta do is swap him out with a different pitcher

I finally grabbed that Joe Kelly after going 0-88 against him previously. His sinker can rise, his FB is fast AF. his knc dips away fast and tight. he's my nemesis.

I like Brandon Lowe's swing quite a bit too so I may grab him as well.
