So does this mean we’re stuck with “Good-Okay” on squared up balls all year? Are we stuck with “Perfect-Perfect” outs and “Early-okay” homers? “Very Early-Way outside” hits. Just tired of the random results and obvious scripting. Make it competitive again. Fix hitting.

Fix the Good-okay, hitting in general, to make it less rng and more skill based. Sure it’s baseball, RNG is part of the game, but this year it is worst than ever before.
-
That’s another thing, countless “good-okay” on balls that I square right up. Hitting is worst. Pitching is unchanged, still leave meatballs on perfect release. And fielding hasn’t been fixed, still have OF lock onto a ball and go into catch animation where I can’t move them and there not even under the ball, then they miss and the ball goes bouncing to the wall.
-
Agree 100%. The rest of the game is trash too. Fielding is so broken.
-
Don’t worry OP the game is trash. Way way way too many Good-okay when I’m about dead read with the PCI. But early-our in front, is a hit down the line for a double. Game is trash
-
I had this happen to me in RS. Not as bad but 100mph in, Perfect-Perfect, 98MPH out. And this bottom 9th 2 outs in a tie game. Ball died in CF and I lost in extra innings.
-
My biggest issue is still the “good-okay” when your PCI is right on it. It’s like the game is intentionally robbing you by labeling it “okay” instead of good or perfect
-
My biggest issue is that every year the game gets less competitive and more random. The better player does not win nearly enough.
-
OP 2020 is worst, even more rng and less skill based wins. I haven’t played in like a week waiting for a patch.
-
Haven’t played in like two weeks. Played a game today and hitting is still random (IE good-okay when right on it, good-good on a hanger just is a soft fly ball, very early slightly rolled is a hit back up the middle, ect.) when’s patch 1.10 when u fix the hitting.
-
Looking to beef up the pen. Who do you guys love so far? Looking for relatively cheap options (gold players).
-
Just played two RS games and the errors were so bad in fielding. Might be worst TBH. Balls rolling right through my OFers feet and to the wall, when they made no effort to even put their glove down. Then guy gets caught between 3d and home, and decides to just go home where my pitcher is just sitting with the ball waiting for him, but never applies the tag. Like he never even tried to tag him, it wasn’t a close play at all, the ball was there way ahead of time. He takes the lead off of that. Then top 9th 2 outs down by 1 with a man on 2nd, and I hit a routine fly ball to center to end the game and his player just misses it. Camped under it but never locked on I guess, so I tied it. Whole game was controlled by fielding errors.
-
I’m with OP hitting seems worst. Tell me how a 100mph Fb that I get “perfect-Perfect” one leaves the bar at 98mph? Literally should be impossible. Also it was bottom 9th 2 outs in a tie game and the ball just died in CF in front of the warning track. Should have walked it off instead lost in extra innings
-
Acuna is a true 5 too ll player. He hits for pop and average for me, gets to everything with his speed, and has a gun out in CF.
-
Game is garbage. Stopped playing RS cause perfect pitches are still hung, good hitting is no longer rewarded as much over bad hitting (late/early PCI not on it), fielding is laughable with the amount of errors and outfielders locking onto balls, not moving, and then the ball lands right next to them (Especially the issue they said they “fixed”)
-
Everyone can agree that it is garbage. Reward the goods players again.
-
OP, I’ve squared balls up even more center than that and have gotten good/okay. Game is garbage Rn

I'm 31-4 in world series... 70-13 in the event.. the better player does win
Hey it’s a developer’s son. I found Little Billy everyone, no need to panic. Did momma leave you unattended again?!
When you are playing on HOF or legend it’s way more likely to have the better player win- On the lower difficulties it’s a [censored] shoot. My opponent struck out 17 times and made 2 good inputs and won because both those inputs were homers. Now maybe he just power swung and that’s why he struck out so much. But I went back and counted 18 good inputs. Either good/good good/squared or perfect/perfect and out of those I had 4 hits and 1 run. It’s on allstar... so I can pretty much be consistent on placing my pci on the ball. Imo. That shouldn’t happen.
This. This is what the OP means when he says the “better player should win”

Do you guys think it’s worth the stubs? Already have Yelich (who will be in my lineup for awhile), so I would need just: Hader (who will be used all year), Baez (I can fit him in my lineup) and Flaherty (could be a 5 starter/ out of the pen. )
Any reviews on stargel? He is the whole reason to do it, loved him the last two years. Also any review on the other collection diamond (is mark prier, ect)
-
Yelich in CF must be a nightmare. The amount of errors he makes in Lf is bad enough
