He’s solid. Changeup fastball combo is deadly. Use the curve as an out pitch when you really need it. Slider doesn’t break a ton, but is still usable.

Try watching Angel games with Matty on the call. Guy doesn’t even watch the game. Has no clue how someone got to 3B, or says a ball was crushed just to not even reach the warning track.

It’s not the fake throw exactly, but changing which bag you’re throwing to. Sometimes you realize the trail runner trying to take an extra bag.

Any chance they still give a Finest card to very deserving guys like Shohei, Salvy and Vlad Jr even with high diamonds already?

Like juice the hell out of them with 125s in power/contact across the board?

It just seems insane to give the Royals Finest to anyone but Salvy and the Angels Finest to anyone but Shohei. All-time historic seasons.

Ohtani won’t get one, because it would make the all star and home run collection irrelevant. Raisel Iglesias will get it for the Angels. He’s been downright electric all year. One of the best bullpen arms in baseball

Britton if you were lucky enough to acquire him

Prime Dan Plesac is nasty too against lefties

I liked Britton last year, but I felt he was easy to hit. Only used him a few times this year. Haven’t used Dan yet
