If you're willing to skip buying any collection cards, live series is doable pretty early. I prefer to play along with the game with collections - so I have chipper, mantle, miggy, etc. If I took the money I spent there and just saved it, I'd have Judge and Ohtani.

Or, the other way is get lucky and draw ohtani or judge in a pack (which I havent).

For me, batting in this game requires an uncomfortable amount of eye strain. If Im really trying to bat well, I have to be super tight to the monitor, and focus super hard on the pitch release. I can step back and do other strategies, but they won't be as good.

Does anyone else feel their eyes protesting while they play? 9-inning games are the worst too.

Steal cheese guy is hilarious, because he always immediately quits when you properly cancel your throw and tag him out. That said, sds should make steal cheesing a little harder - because you have to be pretty precise with cancels

Yeah, but platooning is pointless when all the best hitters are switch hitters.

Like, when is Troy Glaus or Duke Snider ever gonna be useful? Its the same guys every year who play.

Its just mid-May, and lineups are stacked - to the point of silliness. I just put speed guys on my bench - Chone, McGee, Witt, etc

Why have pinch hitters? You're not gonna pinch hit for JRam, Santana, Happ, Chipper, Posada, Lindor, Mantle, Rollins, Elly, any of the red 99 guys...or even guys like Jackie or Trout if you like them.

There's not much team building to be done when its just 9 insane pinch hitters.

You can do a lot to be efficient about grinding. The moonshot event now is a great way to blast through multiplayer program, which is full of xp and needed rewards

Its likely not cheating in moonshot. Sometimes I swing freely at a lot of pitches in the first inning, just to get people thinking I chase everything. Then they get behind in counts later and get pelted.

A cool idea would be to put "Reverse Split" notation on some pitchers - then you'd pull them out against switchies...Just like you'd pull lefty-lefty.

JRam with 2B secondary is sick...could play outfield too. There goes one of the last two non-switch hitters in my lineup...

If they dont create reasons for casuals and offline players to play Events and BR....then those two modes become nothing but the same 1500 guys who are insanely good at the game. BR is still pretty much that way.

I will give this to SDS - these cityscapes and mural programs are not THAT much different than Team Affinity....IF you just commit to no money spent and grind your way to getting the cards. If you go out and FOMO buy everything within a week, instead of grinding for the stubs and cards...then yeah, its way different.

And, as part of grinding you're gonna get other rewards along the way...similar to TA rewards. No captain boosts but those have been useless for a while.

Just like always, there ain't much incentive to use most lesser cards in the game - that's the biggest problem

@Onix_Savage22_PSN yeah, I think some people dont even like Felix and may prefer Doc. That control clipping the corners with this new zone.

Just out - Doc Holliday reward too. He will be really good with the new strike zone. Tough like Al Leiter.

Meh, they never even ask you to get all the Negro Leagues cards....which is weird to me...

If you really wanted, you could say any stats after you score 10 runs dont count anymore? But the bots are the way bigger plague.

Moonshot events are the perfect place to grind all of the multiplayer program except strikeouts, so its fine....the regular game feels kinda like moonshot anyway

Morejon will be useful. Woo and bullpen cards may play. Ortiz will be fun - not the best card to use, but I will use it for fun.

Yeah, but just know so many people are gonna boost and boost some more. But I guess ain't no sense about getting mad about cheaters and bots - ain't ever gonna stop them
