Im not even sure what the point of post-all star content is. Every good card is a copy of eight other cards you already have.

The current power creep is basically designed to retire the game in July. I dont think thats gonna change, because thats what the numbers tell them to do.

Yeah, as I would've expected. The super short "five minute program" is pointless, but if you make people work any harder, they complain.

@Teak2112_MLBTS absolutely, so many excellent legends just go unused. No incentive to use them.

I always say there's too many rewards in this game. At least if you're not gonna have a mode that makes you switch up cards (theme team builder mode)

Here's the proof - every time they release cards based on a real event (like last night's Field of Dreams game) - we are all like "Aww, not that guy again, Ive already got 6 of his cards!!"

Ive never seen Trammell love anywhere but here. He performs as expected for me - lots of fly ball outs that would've been home runs.

I feel like everyone I play has the same lineup of 99s. Fewer people have victor, it seems like - but everyone has all the other guys.

Great idea. Ueck as a mediocre backup catcher would be great.

Not much depression in the market - everything has remained quite high.

They give you a free Vault pack, and you complain? You want them to just hand you a free Chase Beltre? Sheesh.

My "favorite" thing is actually the player who has no plate discipline....swings at everything. But he bunts to get on, then gets a gift homer because my change up (that I drew perfectly!) magically floats right in the middle of the zone (way outside of the PARS region!)

@Sarge1387_PSN Chevy's personality isnt my jam, but at least its not offensively yucky like many others.

I agree with y'all that most big streamers who play this game seem to be super unlikeable yucky personalities. Gomer and Dimmu seem chill and normal - most of the rest seem like annoying frat bras.

But, the player base for this game is just as bad - they are relentlessly negative ragebaiters. SDS can post "Good morning everyone, heres a free 99 player!" and 9 out of ten responses will be...

"Your game is the worst game ever made. Swear word. Swear word. Cheating Scandal. Ethnic Slur. Packet Glitch. Swear Word. AND BY THE WAY - Where's my Aaron Nola Card!!! He just hit 2000 Ks two hours ago, and I dont see any recognition!!! Sleeping at the wheel again, SDS!"

The people who are really good at this game should absolutely be hailed as heroes. They put in countless hours being miserable, until they succeed at this fairly impossible game. Instead of congratulating them and understanding their pain, most people here seem to resent them.

Why is there so much dislike amongst players in this community? The players hate many of the streamers, and the streamers dont seem to like each other. Ive been in other video game communities (speedrunning, sports, etc) and it isnt like that.

This community loves to hate on the elite players as tryhards and sweats. You should revere those guys and praise their abilities - when they turn on that perfectly located sinker, you should be worshipping them, not slandering them. Everyone here wants to complain nonstop about cheating and exploiting - but most of the elite players aren't good for that reason.

This game particularly has a "poor vs. rich" problem - where one side cant like the other. The onliners cant like the offliners, the new players think the old players are conspiring against them, and anybody whos making stubs must be a [censored].

@whitejw98_PSN Lol, I come from a lifetime of rpg playing too - and I agree, sports gamers rarely appreciate the idea of grinding and "slow team building" like rpg vets do.

The problem is that people get bored of the constant grind (especially at this point in the season)- so they play impatiently and annoyed, and then of course you're gonna get frustrated.

Offline and cpu play should have more purpose than just "grinding method" (for both good players and not-so-good players)

Yeah, they've given up on Diamond Quest...and are putting Mini Seasons out with some energy that says "we know you dont wanna play these anymore...but, if you want it...its here, I guess???"

The really good players are actually way more likely to complain about rng. All the elite players bemoan it 24-7.

But, what's the fix? Their games are already insanely high scoring.

This game plays better than you think when theres two good players (not game beaking or elite players, just good - say an 850 player)...and theyre playing with like gold shield players. Thats what this game is meant for.

I appreciate them not making Adley the chase card again. On the other hand, his card kinda makes the Varitek reward pointless.
