    I also really wish we could choose the fans in old-time clothing like in the Negro League Storylines. How cool would that look in the old jewel box-style stadiums we created?

    Just to correct some erroneous info being repeated in this forum, custom stadiums are no longer disabled from online play. I've used my created stadiums online for about the last 2 weeks. So that is why they patched this glitch.

    With that being said, SDS could still meet us halfway. The could allow moveable walls but limit it to a certain distance behind the foul to not encroach into the field of play, and also not too unreasonably far away either. Allow the bottom part of the dugouts to move with the walls so the players will always generate in the right location. Make the bullpens a prop that can be moved instead of part of the playing field.

    Another idea. From the batter's eye glitch we figured out how to create domes. Why not unlock the no-go zone over the field above a certain height as to not interfere with the ball in play? Then we could create roofs with whatever props we desire. And code it so that if any prop is detected above the field the lights default to on so no one could create an intentionally dark stadium and still be used online.

    I'm not a programmer, but I'm pretty sure these asks wouldn't be terribly difficult to implement. Just give us a bit more to this mode we love before we just give up on it.

  • My advice to stadium creator fans like myself

    That's a garbage take. The stadium vault did not work for at least the first 2 months after release without acknowledgement or communication from SDS. They hung their paying customers out to dry without a partial refund, credit or even an apology. They deserve whatever vitriol they get over this feature.

    In addition I don't care for the direction they are going with the gameplay, and the game itself is very stale. The game engine is at least a decade outdated and riddled with glitches. I won't buy the game next year unless they do a serious overhaul. The only way to get change from a corporation is to hit them in the wallet. Profit is all that matters.

    @ROTMG88_PSN
    @SDS_JoeK_PSN I feel totally disheartened by this as well. I'm on Xbox, so to not have this game available on Gamepass for the first time in 4 years, and then to have my favorite mode not working at all after paying $105 is simply inexcusable. It left a sour taste in my mouth which will likely result in me not purchasing the 26 version if there is no fix very soon for SC.

    At this point I just want the mode to work as it did in 24. Any improvements or additions can wait. I paid for early access so I could complete 2 stadiums I had started in 24 over the weekend before the official launch. It's now April 2 and I can't finish those stadiums, nor build any from scratch. I know some people can still create from scratch, but I cannot save any new stadiums. They just revert to templates every time. I implore SDS to at least offer regular updates, not just here but on their Twitter feed as well, which gets more traffic. Please just acknowledge the issue over there, even if you don't have a fix yet, just as an act of good faith. Many people who enjoy this mode feel left out in the cold.

    Anyway, back to the technical issues. Not sure if you've looked into this or not, but I've noticed that any stadium that is not working mistakenly shows the capacity as the elevation. When going back to 24, any new stadium made in 25 does not work in 24 either, also showing the capacity as the elevation. Maybe something got switched around in the code causing this? Of course, then the actual capacity defaults to 50 million-something.

    SDS never discussed any updates to this mode. The only mention of it on their live streams was when they said the new high school fields were made with it. We assumed that meant the yellow line, chain link fence, etc. would be added to the mode, but it was just wishful thinking.

    Some people have gotten them to work. I haven't been able to. Any new stadium I save changes to a default stadium. I'm really peeved at SDS's lack of acknowledgment to this issue. I'm fed up with the game in general for other issues too. Last time I buy it without a complete game engine overhaul.
