Its cause we live in a world of noobs and casual these days with a lack of accountability...when these DD players can't score 10 runs a game they have to blame something cause obviously it can't be them. Hitting is amazing this year, as you all know I play on Legend with pitch speeds maxed with matured sliders so the game plays like a gem. But with newbies and casuals its a hot mess until they take the time to practice and get better, when they don't they come on here and complain like a child.

1. I own a business that allows me to travel the country. 39 states, 250 cities. Every week I meet people. Lots of them from all walks of life. Unfortunately for you, they like me, we talk, we connect.
2. During these interactions, we talk about our state of affairs. You know who the average person is? A moderate. Not at all like you. The overwhelming majority of people want to be left alone and, again unfortunately for you, are tired of the extremes (you and your counterparts) trying to be the "moral thought police".

Our only hope is that the middle of the road person engages more and stomps out the radicals. We can't keep sitting idly by and allowing our parties to be overtaken by the radicals. Vote them out. Would anyone be interested in contributing to my Legends rosters?

Breakdown:

Last year I made some legends rosters. About 600 players. Now, I anticipated year to year saves....was wrong. My 21 rosters were good but I simply lost enthusiasm because it's such a grind. Between likenesses, attributes, and accuracy, I struggled.

I would like to try again.

Concept:

1. Making legends rosters with all 99's is dumb.
2. I'd like assistance creating players.
3. I'd also like help with choosing overalls. I.e. if Babe Ruth is #1 and Brian Giles is #240, I'd like disparity.
4. The idea is to have all created players at age 18 with 10 year contracts to try and force the cpu to roughly keep the players on their teams.
5. I'd also like to try and create these for long term franchise play. I don't want it to take 4 months.

Is anyone interested in collaborating? I'll definitely put the work in but if I do it myself they A. Wont be done for months and B. Wont be as detailed as I like.

Yeah, customers shouldn't be SDS' QA team. I have found so many bugs (I stopped counting at over 20) and issues this year it is not funny. We should all be on SDS' payroll (and also get the game for free)...if we are just really QA folks. A class action lawsuit against SDS is warranted for this level of negligance.

You’re not getting a lawsuit over a glitchy game. You haven’t suffered any injury or loss, you’re just dissatisfied with the game.

Not true. I talked to a lawyer and mapped out the issues. There is also precedent in this area. There is definitely a case.

It's rough, whenever I'm there I just tag all the really bad stuff I see. People will argue "online isn't rated get over it" but the game is rated E for everyone so you don't expect to see that stuff in the game. If it was a rated M game it wouldn't be an issue(aside from the racist stuff) because you expect to see things like that in those games.

I’m not arguing for the bad content, but to your point, those E ratings do only apply to offline game play. They always come with the disclaimer that the online content is not rated. That’s how any game with online play can still manage to obtain the E rating. They’re only responsible for the game they make, not the conduct of the players. That said, the rating system should probably be updated to account for the fact that just about every game made today has online capability with a community full of varying ages and maturity levels.

What other online - E rated for everyone game, has logos and names that are overtly sexually deviant and racist?

I'm pretty sure that the x-rated visual logo content in the MLB The Show logo vault, for example --> today I faced a player who's logo depicted...a [censored] with cum shooting out of it...this logo is so over the top offensive that SDS could face legal consequences for contributing to the delinquency of a minor.

I think you’re missing the point of what I’m saying. Again, I’m NOT arguing for the bad content people put on there. I’m NOT defending it. I’m NOT saying it’s acceptable. The point of my comment is based purely on fact. The fact is that the online content does not in any way, shape or form effect the rating a game receives from the ESRB, and it is also a fact that the E rating of any game comes with a disclaimer that states, “online content is not rated.” These are facts, not opinions. There’s really no disputing the existence of these facts as they exist as truth and they are what they are.

That said, the second point of my comment is that, because of the bad content people put into online games, the ESRB should revamp their rating system to include online user content and interactions. They could supply a second rating solely to the online portion of the game that judges what the studio allows or disallows users to do and submit, or they could require games to have age restricted access to online play and/or content in order for a game to receive an E rating. The rating system was created during a time when games were not played online, or at least it was not as commonly included in games as it is today. The system needs to catch up with the times to prevent the very thing you’re upset with.

Not everything can be prevented online. You may be able to moderate user uploaded content but you can’t prevent players from saying terrible things in the in-game chats, so this doesn’t fall solely on SDS. The ESRB, game studios and parents all need to take responsibility for what children are exposed to online. It sucks that people can be so hateful or immature and upload this kind of nonsense, but unfortunately an E rating doesn’t prevent that, and the behavior does not prevent the game from getting an E rating based on how the current rating system is structured.

I understand what you're saying, about online rated play, however in the eyes of a judge/jury it could be different.

For example, although SDS cannot police everything online, if it's shown they, SDS, were made aware of a specific x-rated logo and did nothing to take it down then they could be held libel for contributing to the delinquency of a minor.

No, they can't. Online user experiences are not rated. They can't police the toxicity of the internet.

The choices are:

1. Monitor your child when they play online games. Understand the risk of them being exposed to vulgar, racist stuff.

2..Don't let them play games of you're scared of this exposure.

3. Let them learn, like the rest of us, about the negative sides of life.

I am in the process of creating an ALL TIME GREATS roster for MLBTS 21.

Unfortunately MLBTS 21 doesn't allow franchises or rosters to transfer from MLBTS 20 to MLBTS 21 so all players will have to be created from scratch. For a 93 man roster we're talking about over 2700 players. Given this unfortunate situation of having to recreate each player from scratch it's going to take several months to complete this roster.

The first cut of this will be 40-50 of the all time greatest players for each team/franchise. As I create the players for each team/franchise I will upload players to the Player vault. When I get 40-50 players for each team/franchise I'll upload an ALL TIME GREATS roster to the Roster vault.

I'll periodically post updates on this message thread. So far I have finished BAL, MIN, and am working on BOS.

You can use mine for help. AP-LEGENDS-LEAGUE is the name. I have about half of them. Probably have to adjust some guys
