Someone on Reddit explained it better than me but I feel the exact same way. Perfect/Perfect Haptic feedback feels awkward and not nearly as rewarding.
From user The_Show_4_Life
"I actually don’t like the PS5 perfect perfect. The sound effect isn’t as distinctive as it was in 20 relative to other contact sounds. I also don’t think a perfect perfect should buzz in your hands for an extended period of time after contact. I think the buzzing would be a great effect for a broken bat or getting jammed but when you hit it on the screws in real life, it’s just a crack and sweet serenity in your hands."
It's almost like a rubber band/tumbling effect in your hands. Hope they have the ability to adjust it.
