I hate to beat a dead horse but what on earth is going on …. There is a very large number of us that have to

• Restart the game every other hour or hour due to freezing
  -events match constantly get dropped and often you can’t find a match at all.
• Gameplay worse than I can remember since 21’
• NO update to graphics engine in years
• numerous bugs and glitches after every content drop
• Lack of consistent response From SDS in the forum
• Lack of code drops working. Numerous people were given errors
• Business model tailored around pay to play getting worse

I mean…. What are we doing here and why aren’t these things getting addressed. Why can’t someone from SDS just chime in and at-least give us some transparency. At the very least answer some of these questions and if these are things that cannot be fixed just let us know. I’m in my mid 30s and have a great career and a beautiful woman. This game is broke yet I still spend a few hours a day minimum when home playing it. It’s like a drug you can’t quit but you want to lol. Do we just need our baseball fix ? Anyone have any explanations or can help? Is there a MLB the show anonymous hotline I can call for THE SHOW addiction because I’m at a loss.

Every single day I play I freeze when going into my lineup. I freeze when trying to load programs. This is the only game that does this and it’s a disaster. Have to restart the game once a day sometimes more. Is this going to be addressed ?

RNG is certainly an issue in 24. Never saw it prior years. To say it doesn’t happen ur fooling urself in my opinion. I can play guys and based off my defensive errors or pitches not going anywhere they were supposed to immediatly know RNG is against me for that given game. Though foul balls are “fixed” suddenly they aren’t and burying pitches does nothing. Foul foul foul homerun. Get a guy on first double play. You can read this game pretty well before it even happens that’s how I know I’m not just crazy. It’s terrible this year. Gameplay is [censored]. Animations are a toss up. I’m 43-10 online. 9 out of 10 losses have come from players significantly worse with absolutely [censored] dink hits up the middle. Late and early hits. An obsurd number of fouls balls and me going 1-18 on goods.

Ya I’ve seen it happen several times this year. Even wee hours in the morning. Bots will compete with your order consistently and then drop the value

The game doesn’t play well at all man unfortunately. I think it’s the lack of investing in the servers. It’s a complete toss up. Either u or ur opponent is going to Lag and the game is going to play like [censored] for one of you

They don't care. We still buy the game. And they comfortably know theirs no pressure to fix issues when sales are fine and competition is none. It’s sad and pathetic but it would take a complete overhaul of ownership and staff for this to ever be a concern. It’s the epitome of atrocious customer service and 0 regard for the satisfaction of your own people.

I think we all just need to realize the game was unfinished this year and is broke. The sheer amount of times we are having to restart the game and or freezing up in menus or whatever the case. I was just playing mini seasons and somehow was lagging in that. I’ve never In my life experienced lag on the show during anything offline.
The hitting engine is brutal and the pitches warping well behind ur player has gotten worse through the year. The servers are terrible. I could go on and on. But let’s just think about this for a second….
WE WERE SOLD an unfinished game at full price. We complain about issues on here and nobody from SDS helps us or answers us.
THE GAME HAS TO BE RESTARTED DAILY MULTIPLE TIMES Just to work for crying out loud.

This year has been a perfect example of why do anything about it if we are still making money and successful. With all this being said, there is absolutely no way we get a fixed game anytime soon and especially an updated graphics engine.

Doesn’t matter… It hasn’t been getting fixed regardless of deleting and reinstalling or clearing cache or anything. It’s ridiculous and needs to be fixed or they atleast need to make another appearance to comment.

Don’t BS it’s not a skill issue. We’ve all had issues with this this year more specifically. I’ve played multiple games where I’ve hit 3 to 4x more goods than someone who could foul everything then suddenly knows how to hit when runners are on bag from 99 defensive errors. I’ve blown games from simple grounders being fumbled from my infield in the absolute opportune time. I’ve seen countless times where if the game is close going into the 9th ur best bet is to be down a run or two. Some hits just place better or sail a lot further or defense makes errors. The games comical this year. Quit trolling this dude

I think it’s silly to think otherwise. There are wayyyy too many comebacks in the 9th innings on dink hits up the middle and early and late for an opponent to come back. I see [censored] like this less in legend ranked but HOF and AS is brutal. Take the trolls and then this on top of it and some days are brutal. I find it happens back to back a lot of times. For me it’s against 700 players. It’s pretty easy to know when it’s going to happen. If you review your history through the games and noticed balls mounted up don’t get exit velocity yet your opponent is hitting early and late HR is a tell sign. Also silly defensive errors is a good sign that it’s happening. Most of the time I find pitches not placing well, more in the zone, and pinpoint a lot harder. This one is a for sure sign in my opinion. Watch some of the top streamers play after a season ends. They typically agree and struggle against players 600 and up.

It’s implemented intentionally to keep players playing and entertained. A lot of games have this its not uncommon. The more players the higher the sales obviously.

I just quit a match I was winning. Bases loaded perfect perfect to the track with Kris Bryant. The entire 3 inning round just felt scripted. I don’t understand with that kind of launch angle and hit how that happens. The games exit velos are all over the place and everything seems to be a toss up. So I just quit and I think I’m sort of over this. This kind of gameplay makes you want to put your controller down but I’ll admit it’s tough. I am addicted and it sucks.

Who else has these issues often ? Does anyone ask themselves why we keep dedicating so much time to gameplay that isn’t consistent and clearly unfinished ? I just dread online play so much when this is the Norm. If someone doesn’t mind please check my gameplay my launch angle and my exit velo on that last hit and explain to me why the game allowed it to die at the track? What constitutes whether the ball is leaving or not ? Is it truly a toss up ?

SDS you gotta fix this [censored]. I’m on my last leg all I’m doing is complaining. Each and everytime I play someone that’s internet isn’t good or their record is very bad I take a L. I struck this guy out 18 times and he hit the ball 3 times. All the hits were moonshots. Yet I can’t even get exit velo with teddy. The game took every opportunity to give this guy the edge whether that was due to internet or not. Great contact for me every single time was a double play I actually got on base. Every good hit was sent to a glove. Every perfect was a single or a double play. Every par was just the tipping edge. Every good hit was to the track and ONLY to the track. All contact other than foul [censored] could barely get to 90 exit velo. Why is this happening and why is it not talked about more ? It’s embarrassing that I work so hard on this game to play people occasionally who swing at everything in the dirt to reject my friendly in the beginning and go on to beat me in the 8th or 9th when they just swing at everything. It makes 0 sense. My majority of losses are just this and yet when I play someone with good connection and good ranking it seems like an actual game of baseball…. Come on! between this and DQ this is gonna make us put the remote down for the remainder of the year. I’m close.

@xRatedGProdigyx_PSN my game doesn’t even run smooth offline a lot of the times. When I hit a foul ball or put the ball into play I get framerate issues. My eyes are nearing 40 years of age but I still feel like I can hop on these pitches quick enough to maintain a 900 rating by end of year. Maybe better this year.
It’s really just so hit or miss this year. Ur either in a good server I feel like and then the next game it plays like trash. WC has been a mess period.

@elMexicano281_PSN it’s very normal. We have all been complaining about it non stop this year more so than any other. And yes .. the majority of my 10 losses have come from players ranked quite a bit lower than me. I just finished a round 4-25 or something along those lines on goods. Multiple perfects were line outs to the outfield and infield. I can say with confidence and my stats show… I line out on around 50 percent of my perfects lately. It frustrated me so much I just quit. I wasn’t even losing I just quit. Because the principal. There is no admittance to this which frustrates everyone. It’s just a failing year hopefully 26 is a complete turn around because they are certainly losing their player base quickly. The gameplay is just awful this year. Plain and simple and we hear you . I yearn for the day I quit this game because it brings me stress.

@fubar2k7_PSN silly comment. You must not play the game a lot. We don’t know the exact reason for favoring an opponent. It could be market manipulation or sliders being adjusted for players that aren’t as high in rank. I don’t know but many others on this forum have explained it well. There is absolutely no reason you can go 5-30 on goods with very hard and solid contact while ur opponent is making very soft early and late (dink) contact putting runners on base with sudden slams. I’ve had defense errors randomly at crucial moments. I’ve had games where my perfect-perfect outs were more common than they weren’t. I’ve had perfect pitches hung and annihilated and perfect pitches called balls when they were very much so in the zone. And no I’m not talking about dots on the line. For me it’s the random meatballs down the center. You will be pitching well all game then suddenly ur pitch meter doesn’t go green and it hangs down the middle always a homer 800 and up players. The list goes on and on.
The issue is the gameplay. It isn’t consistent and if you actually read what he said he admitted sometimes the game sways in his favor and we all agree and have seen the same but that’s not what we want. If I’m playing good one day and slaughtering the ball well more than my opponent I should get good feedback. Not rage quit. And the days I’m playing terrible I deserve to get stomped. However, it just doesn’t work that way anymore.

Sick of hitting PP outs and solid hits for outs when my opponent can’t hit all game other than dinks up the middle or just over third or first head. I’ve lost tons of games this year to this .

I think SDS has gotten lazy. Dont listen to the community or could care less. Same cards over and over. 92 Larry Walker? Ur kidding… it’s a joke. I think they may be lacking the man power these programs are kind of [censored]

This sounds comical as I’ve never not been able to complete an extreme moment since 22 or 23 whenever they were introduced but I’m really scratching my head on this one. I’m getting squared up with only one out left numerous times. If that’s not happening I’m dotting pitches and the CPU is dinking for a ground out over and over. I’m actually clueless. CPU rarely swings at balls and when they do they dink it. So either that or with 9 outs im getting squared up for a homerun couple with bunts from the CPU. Im actually pretty lost at what to do. Ive given it 7 tries now if anyone has any advice.
