RNG is certainly an issue in 24. Never saw it prior years. To say it doesn’t happen ur fooling urself in my opinion. I can play guys and based off my defensive errors or pitches not going anywhere they were supposed to immediatly know RNG is against me for that given game. Though foul balls are “fixed” suddenly they aren’t and burying pitches does nothing. Foul foul foul homerun. Get a guy on first double play. You can read this game pretty well before it even happens that’s how I know I’m not just crazy. It’s terrible this year. Gameplay is [censored]. Animations are a toss up. I’m 43-10 online. 9 out of 10 losses have come from players significantly worse with absolutely [censored] dink hits up the middle. Late and early hits. An obsurd number of fouls balls and me going 1-18 on goods.

Don’t BS it’s not a skill issue. We’ve all had issues with this this year more specifically. I’ve played multiple games where I’ve hit 3 to 4x more goods than someone who could foul everything then suddenly knows how to hit when runners are on bag from 99 defensive errors. I’ve blown games from simple grounders being fumbled from my infield in the absolute opportune time. I’ve seen countless times where if the game is close going into the 9th ur best bet is to be down a run or two. Some hits just place better or sail a lot further or defense makes errors. The games comical this year. Quit trolling this dude

Sick of hitting PP outs and solid hits for outs when my opponent can’t hit all game other than dinks up the middle or just over third or first head. I’ve lost tons of games this year to this .

This sounds comical as I’ve never not been able to complete an extreme moment since 22 or 23 whenever they were introduced but I’m really scratching my head on this one. I’m getting squared up with only one out left numerous times. If that’s not happening I’m dotting pitches and the CPU is dinking for a ground out over and over. I’m actually clueless. CPU rarely swings at balls and when they do they dink it. So either that or with 9 outs im getting squared up for a homerun couple with bunts from the CPU. Im actually pretty lost at what to do. Ive given it 7 tries now if anyone has any advice.

Moments and showdown aren’t worth it. Showdown I hit into 5 perfect perfect double plays. Defense was way too good regardless of how I mounted up the ball. I also got put into my first triple play. Computer advancement of the runners. The moments your batting with actual teams that have 0 stats in some situations So perfect perfect hits are generally pop ups. It’s miserable. Not worth it

You can’t blame the guy an icon for 300 is a joke.

I am once again posting. How are we not seeing anything on defensive errors on your last inning. For instance.. if I am up by a run or two and the opponent is batting bottom of the third my defense starts making silly errors. My catcher even goes to through out a stolen base but drops the ball behind him as he’s going to throw. This is happening almost every single game. Additionally, the opponent starts getting dink hits up the middle at almost every at bat. If they do ground out to you ur SS or SB is likely to bobble the ball in their glove. I am not seeing much on this topic but it’s so bad it’s to the point it’s happening everytime unless I’m up by 5 plus runs going into the bottom. Someone please tell me you are witnessing the same events. Thank you.

I don’t understand how I’m not reading about broken pinpoint. Some pitchers can’t throw pinpoint at all especially fastballs. Additionally, I’ve had my outfields and defense make absolutely comical errors. The balls goes right through them. Or a simple tiny infield pop fly they get under and it just goes right beside there glove. I played between 700-900 on 23. In complete [censored] at this game. The games [censored]. It’s not finished.

The games [censored] in my opinion. I also hovered between 800 plus last year. This year I am struggling bad. Getting my [censored] stomped by players I can tell are significantly worse in events and battle royal. Fouls galore then homerun. I’ve been taking screenshots lately of end game states. I’ve lost my [censored] to player that are getting or early late hits in the gap consistently. I’ve even had a game on events I was 9 for 9 all goods and everyone of them resulted in an out. Any outside pitch gets tanked. Defensive errors are a joke. The games [censored]. I doubt I last much longer. Played 21 and up. Year round. This one is really frustrating me and don’t even get me started with the dunk hits up the middle. I’ve seen guys do that consistently the entire game and absolutely murder me while I’m hitting fly outs to the track. I really suck this year. From 800 plus to losing to 400 players. It’s unreal.

Are you guys having the same defensive issues as I am ? It’s really bad. And there are an absolutely ton of balls hit down the middle. It also feels way too easy to hit this year. Gonna be a home run derby every game.

I’m fully convinced this game is RNG this year worse than it’s ever been. I’ve been in countless games in key situation especially in the later innings where my defense just bobbles a ball or lets a simple grounder go out of the gloved. Or someone steals and my catcher drops the ball when trying to pick off. It always happens in key situations and ur best bet is to not have a slight lead going into the 9th. I’ve found way more success and better outcomes on hits and all kinds of [censored] if I’m down going into the 9th. It’s ridiculous

Not counting all the dropped games lately old pitch. I don’t understand what’s happening with this game and the servers. Everything is going downhill so fast. Since the update I’ve struggled with perfect perfect line outs and dying at tip of wall more than ever. It’s gotten exhausting to play. PP line out into double play at first base and third base way too often. Meanwhile extremely late and early is falling into the gap. Suddenly I can’t win games.

I think it’s short staff coupled with the inability to make the changes. I don’t think SDS is very advanced or skilled and I don’t mean that with any disrespect. That’s why I don’t think this game will ever take off graphically or anything of that nature. I would like to know why they haven’t invested in better servers more than anything. They are horrid coming from a game that makes a ton of money apparently… or did anyway in the past

Took me 10 tries. Longest I’ve spent on a single moment I think. Was suddenly incredibly easy the 10th try. Before that they were bunt spamming me but ya keeping it high helped.

Honestly the game just blows this year. Not sure why we even bother. I’m sick of the RNG [censored]. Sick of grinding for [censored] cards. Sick of the terrible pitching mechanics and I could go on and on. No two rounds feel the same. Ones got latency issues. The other doesn’t. Then next someone is trolling it’s just a big toxic atmosphere and the community doesn’t care. sDS doesn’t seem to care either. Or they are controlled by Sony. I dunno. But the gameplay this year is atrocious in my opinion

I’ve noticed I can square balls up now and don’t get the heavier bat sound. It’s more aligned with a pop up. Feedback being perfect, this wasn’t the case until recent update. Especially outside sliders. I can square them up and they go nowhere suddenly. Additionally, I just played someone who completely misses the ball according to batter analysis yet it never came down and carried over fence. Post game batter analysis is showing a yellow 14 on the PCI rating. Label swing timing is yellow Very late. It’s showing up as a complete miss on batter analysis. Looked almost like a check swing but somehow flew. I’m noticing small errors like this in the game since they made an update. What are others thoughts thanks
