I just don’t think they should have the rule in the game

If you do a mound visit the little indicator bar usually comes back if you’re using pure analog. That should help a little.

I know. That’s not why I am mad. I’m mad because I walked 4 batters and then automatically lost.

If the rule didn’t exist butthurt kids would just IBB you until you quit. Just move one pal.

I walked 4 batters. That is why I am mad. It used to be 8 batters. I don’t understand why they would change that rule

How the f#ck do you know it used to be 8 batters? I think you may need a different approach to the game, or a new game.

Because other people said it earlier in the thread.

All the toxic comments aside, there is a reason this rule is implemented in the game. It's to prevent salty kids who are losing to unnecessarily stretch games by plunking batters, pitch around batters or IBB every batter. Unfortunately this rule is a must.
I understand the rule completely, but I only walked 4 batters. I’m not sure if it was a game error, but it used to be 8 batters and then the griefing rule.

8 is ridiculous. I have no idea what the rule is now because I have never seen it. 99.9% of us will never see it. If people are walking that many people in a row then they gave up. And should be game over. 8 batters is insane and should not be the number.

Well 4 shouldn’t either. The reason for the rule is not skill-based. Like comments before me, its for people who are getting butthurt and mad at the game and then walking or hitting people repeatedly.

He got a triple, a ground out. Then singled. Then pinch ran and stole 2 bases then the walk parade started. Sounds like a rage quit to me.

[ Lindor tripled to right. Piazza grounded out to Story (5-3). Stargell pinch hit for Verlander. Stargell grounded to center for a single. Lindor scores. Rollins pinch runs for Stargell. Rollins stole 2nd. Victorino struck out chasing a fastball high and away. Rollins stole 3rd. Story walked. Story stole 2nd. Yelich walked. Bellinger walked. Rollins scores. Marte walked.
    Runs: 2 Hits: 2 Walks: 4 Errors: 0 Pitches: 35

No I am being 100% honest I wanted to keep playing. I NEVER troll people on this game. I know what it’s like when people do that and it’s extremely annoying. I just don’t understand why the game ended because of 4 walls.

My question is how did your guy have low energy in the 5th.... and why wouldn’t you wanna change.... trying for some mission? Just change pitchers . Although The grief rule should only apply to hit batsman not walks
It was a reliever because my starter got injured in the 3rd

Dude listen. I definitely didn’t walk 8 people, and honestly, it didn’t even feel like 5. I think it might have been 4. But, just because I wanted to stretch a guy who was tired’s outing because I didn’t wanna bring someone in doesn’t mean I should be given an automatic L.

Okay just looked at your game history. Are you sure you didn't just get a server error or something? because you did only walk 4. You shouldn't have gotten kicked from the game unless it was a server error

I’m being 100% honest. I only walked 4 and then got a griefing message and the game was called.

I can honestly say in my entire MLB the show experience, I have never walked 5 batters in one inning.
And if you did, you were probably going to lose anyway.

You literally said in one of your posts about how you can come back in the 9th down by 8 and your saying “youre probably gonna lose anyway” wtf

Why are you going through my posts? My point still stands, if you can't control a pitcher and you issue 5 walks in one inning, it's not going to be a good game for you.

I wasn’t tryna stalk u or anything lol i was just looking at ur profile. and i wanted him to go deep as a reliever because my starter got injured early and i didn’t wanna use my other relievers. I was fine letting up a couple runs because of the decision, but it just frustrated me that I got an L because I walked a few guys.

that’s not the point. and no, i wasn’t going to lose. I had nobody warmed up and was losing by 3 in the fifth inning. it’s bs that walking 5 batters makes u lose the game.

Hi. I am very mad at this game right now. I am pitching, trying to get through the game, and because I WALKED TOO MANY BATTERS THE GRIEFING RULE WAS CALLED IN THE 5TH INNING. FIX THIS PLEASE.
