i remember a few years ago the game had a program featuring these community guys and I had no idea who any of them were. i was like what a big waste of time this program is. they made a program from some random joe's off the street.

I guess this guy who got fired must have thought he was something special. that posting he was fired would start some kind of nationwide outrage where people would stop playing the game and SDS would beg on their knees crawling back to him demanding he rejoin the 'community'. When in reality 98.9% of people who play this game have no idea who these people are.

I like this. Can platoon with Kike at shortstop or the keep Kike in the outfield.

I think they're both starters, platooning them would be wasting one or the other.

I meant in the infield. Unless they throw Kike at second and Mondesi at short.

Have Kike mainly in center field and the days Mondesi needs a break bring Kike in at short.

My lineup is also full 99s including Trout, Larry Walker, Eddie Murray. These cards were all free.

One side of me likes this, it's late in the cycle anyway so who cares. But there is also a part of me that feels bad for all the people who grinded the entire year to build a good team only to see people like me being able to build an absolute goon squad without any real effort.

How do you guys feel about this? Happy with this development or would you prefer the older style of exclusivity when it comes to end game cards?

I think it’s good they do this to give the late starters a chance to try most of the top cards. Someone who starts this late most likely won’t get the top Collections done so they will still be short a few of the best cards in the game, but at least they can still field a top-tier team that can compete with anyone.

80% of my matchups bunt dance and hold R2 excessively. Oh how I missed it (sarcasm). You know what they all have in common? They all suck and rage quit on the first no doubter. If only they would focus on trying to hit the ball instead of trying to be annoying, they might actually improve at this game and quite possibly win a game or two.

I'm going to say that I've seen less of this behavior in BR this year (I still see it in RS). I'll guess that part of the "better behavior" is that if you're an average player like me, it makes sense to stay in the game and play due to the points/awards system. BR is soooo lucrative, especially mid-game cycle. I'm with @Blind_Bleeder on this...

Geesh - I got to 100 points (took Trout this time), and I am still 1 ticket shy of Rollins (2nd half (3), All-Star (5)), and 7 tickets shy of Mantle.
