It was down again last night, the night before, the night before that. I spent $100 dollars on this game and barely have been able to play because it seems to never work when I can get free time. It's fair to expect speculation at this point with so little information on your end as to what is going on. It's honestly gotten very frustrating now and think refunds should be given if problems can't be solved. This is an online game that doesn't work online... I wouldn't have bought the game if I knew I couldn't play it.

Funny how some people can call grinding 12 hours in one day easy or not too bad. I'm jealous because I'm lucky if I get 12 hours in a week. LoL... if i played moments for 12 hours in a single day my brain would literally leak out of my ears.

Nope... the biggest issue is the servers are garbage. This is by far the worst lag game I've ever played.

Played a couple hours last night and an hour today and I am very impressed with the game so far. I play The Show half the year and Madden the other half. Getting back to The Show at launch without any lag or server issues is great and loving all the content. The addition of captains and ways to boost your squad is a great addition. There is so much content to go through and excited to be back to the grind. My biggest complaint with this game has always been poor servers and issues especially at launch and I haven't seen the slightest bit of lag yet... if that keeps up all year, this game is nearly perfect. I wish SDS could make a football game similar to The Show. I'm excited and just wanted to share.

Cool story... but there are not 98 diamonds at every position yet. And wasting time between pitches intentionally has to be one of the most sour puss reactions to having an inferior team. Grow up bud... get a better team before going into ranked seasons if your gonna pout over not having one.

I feel sorry for anybody willing to sit in a freeze off for 8 hours winning or losing. Its 1 win of a video game and to care that much is very bizarre to me... some people need to get outside and get some fresh air... I can't even go 9 innings with a pause spammer when I'm winning... nevermind 8 hours in a freeze off. some guys care way too much about a video game record... sad.

I'm not a good hitter and do the Showdowns easily too. Patience is the key and also "hero time" is the best perk by far... it stays active for ever swing throughout the entire Showdown. Showdown is the quickest program points we get... I really hope all the crying this year doesn't make SDS get rid of them. I hate how time consuming the PXP missions are... we should cry about those instead. It blows my mind that people hate Showdown which is 25 points for 30 minutes or so of time, but have no issue doing hours and hours of mindless PXP missions for equal points. If you can't beat Showdowns, you are either swinging at every single pitch or you are not hitting in any mode anyways, so why only cry about Showdown.

I think it's being aimed more toward casual players than years past. They want a bigger fan base and for somebody like me who can only make time to play an average of 1-2 hours a day I can say that you aren't getting the LS collection done already unless you play a lot more than 1-2 a day or paying over $1000 in real money. I'm trying to get just the A.L done and still haven't gotten there. To those saying it's super easy to aquire every top card already.... you are full of [censored] and you know you have to grind your [censored] off to get all the LS players done already. Some of you guys that's only purpose in life is to play video games 8 hours a day take that for granted and also get whiny when you see others at the same point as you already. I'm glad it's not super difficult to aquire a good team because I can't play enough to have a God squad like some, but I can still compete with them. There are all different types of players out there with different schedules and most of have a life outside of videogames and kudos to SDS for making a more level playing field... it's nice being able to work, have a family, a house to take care of and still be able to log on a couple hours at night and still enjoy online matchups.

Its really funny to me that all the regulars on here are so fast to bash Madden and how toxic it is.... but i play both and a regular on the MUT forums and this forum is way more toxic than madden... literally every other thread on these forums will have at least 1 internet toughguy insulting the O.P. for his thread or pointing out anything someone says to belittle them... i guess a lot of guys with really tiny bats play this game.

No... The Phillies aren't even close to the largest nationally recognized team. Yankees, Red Sox, Dodgers are the top 3 and Cubs, Giants , Tigers. You made that up.... not facts at all.

This is in any game... people want to use the best cards, kinda makes sense. Mantle and Ruth were a grind... I dont have either of them. The guys who spent all that time grinding them deserve them for their time invested. You sound like one those guys that sit home 8 hours a day and play videogames, because time isn't easy to spare for everybody... Ruth was 12 hours of moments.... anybody who played 12 hours of that is committed to the grind 100%. I couldn't spend that kinda time playing mindless moments for Ruth. It might be EASY for you, but for some sitting home grinding is impossible.

Yes... still complaining. I didn't get it for free... I paid $80 for the game with 3 days early access and have bought the game every year for a long time. it's aggravating that I can't play the game for 2 nights in a row now. The worst part is they haven't even acknowledged it yet and has been an issue since Friday and gotten worse every night. This is a forum for the game and the game doesn't work... would have to think that would be a good place to come and vent or acknowledge you can't play the [censored] game.

casual players aren't meant to hit 650xp.... thats just part of life. I grind to the bosses pack and I'm happy with that... the max is meant for the hard-core 30 hour a week grinders.

I have no problems with pitching moments. I hate this year's player PXP missions... the only thing that I hate about the grind this year. I don't want to use Whitey Ford and Spahn for 6 innings, and especially the way to do it is conquest and conquest is the only grind we use the team we grind for. Now we are playing conquest with randoms and unless you play a lot of ranked seasons... we aren't even using our teams at all. They need to give us a grind where we can use our teams. I've been grinding a lot monthly rewards and the featured program snd all the time I've been playing the last week or so.... I've literally not even used my team at all. For me the PXP stuff is sucking the fun out of the grind.

I'm the opposite... to me, what makes DD fun is using guys I grew up watching like Randy Johnson and David Ortiz. I use current players too, but DD without legends would get boring fast. Content would be very limited without past players.

Disagree with your opinion on pinpoint. It was way overpowered last year, and needed to be toned down. IMO.... even if you can get perfect input on PP, you shouldn't be spot on with every pitcher... pitchers who don't have a perfect control rating, shouldn't be dotting every pitch no matter how good you are at pinpoint. Making control ratings irrelevant is not a good look for sim baseball.

Seems like a lot of content this year. I can't even come close to completing it all. There is nothing wrong with pleasing the hard core players, that play like it's a full time job. My issue is the limited time our rewards are relevant. All this grinding is way less rewarding knowing that I only get to use these cards for a few months and then useless. I'm sure a lot of people love this new "keep it fresh" system... but for me, it has only killed my motivation to grind as much as years past. Looking at a huge collection like set 1 and knowing the rewards are only usable for a few months, takes all my motivation away from trying to complete it. That set is a massive grind for cards that you can't use all year if you like them all.
