63 overall pitcher, called up to the Mariners rotation 3 weeks before the MLB Allstar break. I'm playing on Allstar difficulty and in AA it's fine, I'm pitching well. I skip AAA and go to the Majors for some reason, I haven't had a training session since being called up and I'm getting rocked each game getting pulled before the 6th inning. I can't compete when my attributes are not MLB worthy yet.

Sports games need to come out every 3-5 years and not every year. Every year each game has inconsistant quality. And every year it's pretty much the same game with a few tweaks here and there. I don't make games but i'm pretty sure that you need more than a few months to make a new game. I know companies pump out sports games every year and the only reason is money cause people keep buying it, but sports games need to stop coming out every year cause the quality just ins't there.

He does have speed though, 43sb in low A in 2018, 12 in HiA in 2018, 24 in 2019 in HiA and 24 in 2019 in AA

What is it with nearly every pitcher getting a sinker?

I'm mainly a PC gamer. I only have a playstation pretty much for only MLB the Show because the baseball scene on for a game like this is barren. I guarentee you that if this game went to PC I would have zero reasons to own a playstation.

simple, just make the game playable using a controller only.

forget about the cheating, he's was gold glove winner and a 6x all star. Most big leaguers would make that play.

It's faster to obtain them by grinding showdown, and they were promoting getting the cards with march to october but it takes on average 10-13 hours, if they gave out double the affinaty points then maybe i would take the time to do it.

They also reduced the rewards in showdown, the two bosses before the showdown boss used to give 700 stubs now they give 500. the first mini boss used to give a show pack now it's a silver card. for a limited time they used to give 6 vouchers now they're back down to 5.

Except they are advertising the game as a baseball simulation, it's not an arcade game. players in real life can make great contact on a pitch and lineout or flyout, you don't see them complain that they should get rewarded for making great contact that goes right to a guy.

So they 'adjusted' the difficulty.

They did the same thing last year (adjusting something that was exploited) when people were hitting 600 Stars in a matter of days.

And dont get me started on the whole 'play vs CPU for days' fiasco right before new innings were dropped.

I dont believe in ' conspiracy theories' and I like how some users post videos showing ways to earn rewards; but I think that is why hitting was adjusted.

Back, I forgot about the maintenance last night and ended up getting kicked, on my final game, for the Granderson 14 H 6 XB moment. When I was kicked, I was one hit away

I had to restart it this morning and I've attempted it twice so far; getting a grand total of SIX hits in 18 games. Thats BS.

I wasn't crusing through the showdowns before the patch, but i was winning them at a pretty reasonable rate, now in my last two showdowns that i have won i have had 1 out remaining as opposed to 6 or 7. It definately got tougher. I think they made it harder so they get people to play march to october, the mode they were proping up as the best way to get affinity points, but no one wants to play 8-13 hours in that mode, it's faster to do showdown and only takes about 30/ 40 minutes if you beat it.

yes, many times, figure out who the end boss is and draft your lineup with the opposite hand, try to get only power hitters. Defibrillator and inner peace are the best traits to have. You only need 1 starter and 1 closer. Complete the first 3 moments and play against the 1st boss then do the next moments, skip the second boss and go right to the end showdown. Remember the pitchers in showdown have stamina and confidence so take pitches and work the count and try to get a cookie in the middle of the strike zone. Don't worry about the 1000 stub entry fee, you'll get it back even if you don't beat the final boss in the showdown.

I know MLB the show 20 is coming out nextweek, but i'm wondering if anyone else is having issues with their equipment. My guy is a 71 and with his gear he's an 88 when i go into a game everything is fine and his attributes are boosted up with the gear, but when i click on go to next game all the effects from his gear is gone and his overall is back down to a 71. Is there anyway to fix this?

And I'm over here spending hours making Pokemon logos lol

How about they made Pete Almonso an 85 just after one season even though the reason he's an 85 is because for his power but still. They don't really care about 3 year averages right?
