I like that they changed mini-seasons and conquest to a bunch of packs and didn't lock any cards behind them. Gives you the option of completing them if you want, but not required to get cards for the collection. That's a step in the right direction.

I haven't noticed any differences.

Looks like the new collection is a standalone. Of course, since I bought some old new threads cards to prepare. I'm so bad at predicting this stuff.

@Sarge1387_PSN I doubt it. Every live stream is just non-stop bashing, always has been. If that was the reason they would never do them at all.

@Dolenz_PSN Yeah thats gotta be the halfway reward I would think.

They mentioned during the last one, which was right before the All-Star Game, that they'd be taking a break from live streams for a while but that they'd be back at some point.

Yeah agree with this. I'm willing to bet the vast majority of players don't even know about pci shrinkage.

Yeah I bought up the few old new thread cards I didn't have yet last week just to be safe. I assume they'll be part of the collection if its like last year. Although now that I bought them maybe they won't be lol.

Well now they have to play conquest games (like that one map with 14 strongholds) or a ton of mini seasons just to get cards that's either required for collections or saves them the hassle of paying a ton of stubs for a collection card that they'd otherwise never use.

Yep, and maybe they'll move away from that for offline now to. And then people will complain about that instead.

I completely agree that they should go back to having the individual programs for BR, Events and Ranked. But the reason they went away from that and changed to the Multiplayer program was due to complaints from people about being forced to play certain modes. As best as I can tell, this is where the whole "play your way" thing even started. It was in reference to the introduction of the Multiplayer program.

Totally agree. For the most part, overall ratings are basically meaningless. Especially when you're getting in to the 96+ territory.

If you're looking to make some stubs, run through the new event program. Took a little under 2 hours to finish, all spotlight packs as rewards, and a lot of those cards are pretty expensive right now. Just made about 150k.

I only used Santana once online so far and it was on HOF. He was pretty solid though. 7 innings, 10 Ks, gave up 1 run. I'm glad I hang on to him. I sold Durham though so can't help you there.

No need to convince yourself of anything. The odds are clearly listed. They tell you straight up that there is very little chance of pulling good stuff.

I don't know, the ERA was good, but otherwise...29 hits in 28.2 innings, only went 6+ innings in 2 of 5 starts, only 16 Ks. Solid month, but not sure it's necessarily spotlight worthy.

@sbchamps17_NSW I was kind of afraid of that. Could be because so many people want to hold them for the collection. Maybe in a couple hours we'll get lucky and see a little dip.
