I buy one hobby box of the new Topps release on Opening Day each year just to celebrate the start of the season. That's it though, that's my one purchase of cards for the year. It's become a fun little tradition.

Its not even close to 2K or Madden levels in my opinion. It's still incredibly easy to get a ton of very good cards and tons of stubs completely free in this game.

I'll probably just buy him eventually. At this point I have more stubs then I know what to do with anyway.

Yep, still playing, still having fun with it, and it's still not broken.

I definitely keep their repertoire in mind, and then even more importantly pay attention to how your opponent uses the repertoire as well. After a few innings you'll usually notice some patterns. Do they throw a lot of the same pitch, or do they try to mix it up. Some people even try to mix it up a little too much, so you know if you saw a slider early in the at bat, they may not throw one again. Stuff like that.

Its a choice, you could earn the cards through online or offline play. 2 options are better than 1. Yes, some people would kneejerk complain without looking at the full picture (like the person saying SDS lied about new modes when they did not) but most people would understand choice of options is typically better than no choice of options

The complaints would come more from the people upset their card is worth less stubs and that the events are no longer worth it.

I agree with you, more choices is a good thing, and I'd be totally fine with an idea like this being implemented. I just also know that we would see tons of complaints about being "forced" to play 28 games. Even when choices are given, it'll never be enough for most people. This is why we're stuck with such dumbed down content drops now where everything is boring and the same and can be completed in an hour.

Glad we're getting another new event already and there's no break in between. Needed something other than ranked to get through he multiplayer program.

The last couple days have sucked as a Braves fan, but getting 99s for Harris, Didi and Kerr is pretty cool at least.

Agree with you guys, just something about his swing that always works well. Attributes barely even matter at this point of the game. Just use guys you hit well with.

I love when guys I'm facing try to cheese with the circle change. Makes them very easy to beat when you know whats coming every time.

Lol nice! Sounds like you made the right call!

I've surprisingly had better luck with Ballins this year then I have any other year so far. I think thats just the way it goes. Sometimes you get lucky and sometimes you don't.
