Wow that collection is pretty [censored] good!

Kind of excited for that Chandler Simpson card. I love 99 speed slap type hitters. I'm hoping he can be like the past Dee Gordon cards.

I disagree that its broken. Now I understand people have different ideas about how they want the hitting to work, and you may not like the way it works, but that doesn't mean its broken.

When something is actually wrong, these forums light up; think about what happens when PSN goes down, or even something like the regional codes given out for free cards not working... people come out of the woodwork, but you're just not seeing that level of activity about this topic. Just from you and a few others.

And who gives a [censored] what streamers think about anything? Their livelihoods don't depend on this this game; their livelihoods depend on the marks and their lemming-like devotion to the "content creators'" aggrandizing promotion of themselves. They can simply switch games, and fools would either follow or they'd find new fools, and they'd still have lost no progress in their pursuit of being famous for doing nothing of consequence.

The game plays great for me, connection-wise, and I enjoy playing the game despite the opinions others' opinions of it.

I wish I could like this post a million times. I've said the same thing before to, but it only gets met with insults and name calling. If these issues were widespread it would be posted about non-stop on here and on reddit by a ton of people. Instead it's the same handful of people every single time.

The game is simply not broke...period.

Definitely agree that people get way to caught up in the overalls, even when it comes to using cards in ranked. People see streamers ranking cards and saying which cards are the best, and while sometimes it is accurate, often times it comes down much more to which cards and swings you hit best with and are most comfortable with.

I wouldn't mind being able to set a vs. RHP and vs. LHP lineup, but I'm still not sure it would solve the problem. Obviously people could still just use all switch hitters, but even if they don't, I think we'd see people using openers as pitchers and then switching after an inning to counter whatever lineup they face. It would at least introduce some strategy though.

I feel like gameplay and hitting is better this year. I like that every game is not just a home run derby and plays more like actual baseball than it used to.

I think I'd say grab Griffey. The card is sick and I always love his swing. I'm now running Ted in LF, Griffey in CF and Beltran in RF and my outfield might be set for quite a while.

I usually NEVER buy packs, but was sitting on 900k stubs with not much to do with them so I decided to gamble a little. It took until my 3rd and final chase pack but I got Rollins. It's always a good day when you can add Rollins and Griffey to your lineup. Two of my favorite cards in the game every year.

Wow that Griffey card is somehow even better than I expected.

Griffey confirmed. I'm gonna need that card for sure.

Two cards that are usually pretty fun to use. Justice has a great swing. Not sure either will make the god squad after the last few weeks of content, but will be fun to use vs. CPU sometimes.

@DemIsE4_XBL Download is 600/mbps and upload is 23/mbps. FWIW I am a firm believer that connection speed is less important than connection stability. On my old ISP in past versions of The Show I used to have frequent freeze offs and lagging despite having similar connection speeds to what I have now, but after switching ISPs my freeze offs and lag have completely disappeared. I know people hate to hear that the connection issues could be on their own end, but in my experience that was definitely the case.

I don't think it's time to quit. I'm still having a lot of fun with the game. Gameplay is fine. I haven't had any connection issues. Overall content has been really strong since the All-Star drops. Kurtz vision is lower than it should be for sure, but should only be an issue at HOF or above in which case I just won't use him in those situations. There are so many solid, easy to obtain cards out right now that there are plenty of options if needed.

That Kurtz card could be sick. And it's been a great week for us Braves fans! (I wish I could say the same for the real life on field team)
