Gameplay is better than its ever been.

Its exactly the opposite for me. For the first time I see no reason to spend any real money.

To each their own and all, but I don't get how so many people play on rookie so much to just mindlessly pad stats. It sounds so boring. I'm not that great or anything, but I always play the CPU on All-Star and am still having fun playing. Based on the forum, it seems like most people that play this game complain about how much they hate grinding. Maybe try just actually playing on a legit difficulty level and having fun rather then playing on rookie in a fake stadium with 200 foot walls and expecting every hit to be a homer.

He is. I'm just fed up with guys like him who want to push the positives only thing. This game has flaws, why can't we address them? If he likes it, good for him.

You don't even play the game and you spend time here just to [censored] on it and argue with people. You probably shouldn't be the one to judge.

Agreed, going to be a great content drop today. I was unsure about the sets/seasons stuff at first, but I think I am starting to come around on it. Feels like release day all over again.

I only play DD but gameplay is great. Best its been in years.

To me this theory from OP doesn't make much sense. With the setup of '23's content it was the first time since I started DD that I didn't spend any money on the game. There were so many easily attainable good cards that it was the first time I didn't feel like buying stubs was even necessary.

It's pretty weird to see someone spending so much time on a forum talking about a game they claim they aren't playing.

That is a lot of words just to cry about not getting a diamond pull in a pack.

Its kind of interesting, because I share the same mindset as you in terms of it just being a video game and I just play for fun and as an escape, but that's why I don't really care about this change all that much. If a card is released in Ranked or BR that I really want, I'll work through the program and get it and use it. If there isn't a card I want I just won't bother doing the program and will just continue playing for fun. Whether or not I can sell them is kind of irrelevant to me. I just play for fun and try to get the cards I want to use and don't try to get the cards I don't want to use.

I don't like when I end up in those type of created stadiums either, but getting rid of your PS5 because of one aspect of one game seems a little dramatic. I'm pretty sure you claimed you were going to cancel your PS5 order before it even arrived a few weeks back over whatever you were complaining about at the time to, and then you were excited about it when you did get it and saw the differences from the PS4.

I would suggest a 5th and 6th potential option, and these are the two I choose between when I am in the same situation, because I do agree with you.

5. Just quit that game and move on to the next one in a legit stadium
6. Just play the game anyway and do your best to beat the person who chose such a dumb stadium. At least you get to hit with those same ridiculous dimensions and elevation.

Disagree. For me its been less pay to play than ever before. I used to always buy stubs and this year I have not spent any real money because there are so many solid free cards out there.

Huge Braves fan...I couldn't even be mad about that game last night. That was just straight fun and impressive.

They banned Digital Champion for bad mouthing Ashley and her moments on a stream. Which last I checked banning an account for something said in a content creators stream isn’t in the code of conduct. We should be careful they’ll ban everyone in this thread.

Here's a thought, don't personally insult the devs. Be frustrated with the game if you want, question their decisions and direction if needed. But, if you have to result to vulgar insults towards any of the devs, then you don't get any sympathy from me.

Again I get it. But to ban him? We still have a freedom of speech thing. He wasn’t cheating he wasn’t exploiting the game he went on a rant. Was it classless absolutely but to ban him, basically what SDS is saying don’t bad mouth us, dont question us, don’t say anything we don’t like or we’ll ban you. But I still see racism in the game with team names, sexually explicit logos, exploiting the game, and other things that aren’t being banned. DC owned it. Apologized. But a perma ban, or in Thuuneys case questioning the company and being fired. Basically don’t question them. Or they’ll make you disappear

One man’s profanity is another man’s lyric…that is actually a Supreme Court statement in a freedom of speech case…..so think you may want to drop that stance.

We're way off topic at this point...but freedom of speech relates to the government, that was my only point in my original comment. That statement you mentioned comes from a freedom of speech case about the government being able to criminalize the display of profanity. As far as I know, SDS is not the government and the person in question here was not arrested for what they said so I don't think that statement or freedom of speech in general is very relevant here. That's all I was trying to get at.

Anyway, that's probably about my limit on talking about the constitution on a video game forum for today.
