Why is it a waste? a power bat with speed and decent defense. They were never giving him a 99 4 homer game card. He may have gotten a 97 at best.

I’ll tell ya why. It’s an insanely rare feat that’s why!! But hey I’m just a dumb ars!!! SDS F’s everything up so I’m not surprised.

They messed up according to you.. This card is a realistic version of what he was. I mean he didn't hit any homers off a lefty in his 4 homer game so what do you think would be different? He would have slightly better power and worse speed and worse defense and probably worse vs lefties. This is the best shawn green you could ask for realistically based off his stats. They even gave him better defense than he probably deserved.

That’s one way to look at it.

Coming up on 300 stars and as a diehard Sox fan, it's a given that I should take Papi, but after two showdowns in which I was within 2 runs of winning (both with bases loaded...ouch), I can say Papi hasn't been a factor for me. I agree that MTO should be more points. I also would appreciate it if they made the stage 1 team affinity showdowns a little bit easier.

Nope. 92 Clark Schmidt. A pretty decent SP card....but nothing like a Dominguez card could have been. Hitters are just way more fun....I hope the rest of the cards are better. I fear the only reason to grind the FS cards out will be to get the the next round of Summer ones....

I started the day at 4-6 for ranked seasons (haven't played many, so that's why the record isn't too high) and ended at 4-12. But how many innings did I play? Zero. Zip. Nada. I had this problem before. My Internet was outdated, since I haven’t updated for about 3 yrs, so I got it upgraded. I still received the problems and then noticed my wire was kinda worn so I bought new one. So far it’s been fine. Probably check your internet provider. Hope I ain’t confuse u, under the influence and also playing a game laugh out loud. But good luck

haha cheers friend. i'll check the internet. haven't been getting good speeds when i run a test, but only when i play the show, so that's why i was confused about it

There are multiple FOF players that could improve your lineup, but here are my favorites so far:

FOF Correa at SS
FOF Rizzo or FOF Olsen at 1B. I prefer Rizzo because of his vision.
FOF Gallo at RF. I don't hit very well with him on HOF, but if you make contact and get under the ball it will leave the park more often than not.
FOF Soto is just a better version of his gold card.
Some good FOF pitchers are Ohtani and Snell.

I'm thinking Correa is going to be next for me for FoF. I was also thinking Santana, but are both Rizzo and Olsen better? I haven't faced either of them, i just know Rizzo has similar stats with i think more vision.

I have Santana as well and he is a more balanced hitter vs. both lefties and righties. Part of this has to do with him being a switch hitter which is a huge plus. His downside is his defense, which doesn't matter as much at 1B (but reaction still makes a difference). He also has a secondary position at catcher. I've been using him at catcher in the event, but his defense is barely passable.

Hopefully they expand on the player programs. Either introduce a new legend or maybe do a player program for someone like glavine or David Ortiz. Also since content will be a little slow this year since we won’t be getting potm programs or anything, maybe they will go ahead and release the spring expansion for team affinity.

Of course it's blank, and will continue to be so, until their predetermined time in the spring arrives. The same holds true for summer and autumn.
I expect the pattern will largely be the same as what it is now. That would mean each affinity would ultimately have three new cards. It appears as if SDS listened to the complaining last year, about nothing more for affinity after 100 points.

PSA you lose points on the TA if it overlaps 70.... that’s dumb, it should say 77/70 etc.

If they didn't, those players and the next part of the affinity program would be instantly finished by a number of players. This way when the spring affinity program actually drops, people have something to do. I'd have been very surprised if they had let the points accumulate over 70, for a program that hadn't even been released yet.

Yeah but if you had 67 and do the collection then the other 7 should roll over. I understand past that for the reason you said, but it took 7 points away from me. The overlap of hitting 70 should be given to you.

Side question - do you get Game reward after every Events game or only after RS and conquest?

Me too. One of my favourite times of the year is the early season when people have silver and gold cards in their lineup.
