And they were completely fine/fun. Nobody bunt danced/R2 spammed/ quick pitched (much anyways). One game was a blowout but no one quit. No one abused the pause timers...scores were reasonable (5-2, 9-0)
The only reason I’m writing this is, given the toxic cesspit that everyone on these forums describes, I wanted to try it out for myself. It was neither completely broken nor unplayable. No vast AI conspiracy dictated the winner or the loser. I haven’t played The show since 17, I’ve never been a top player (CS in 17), and I thought the game felt pretty good online. I gave up runs on one mistake pitch and one great pitch... both of which happen IRL. I’m sure this isn’t reflective of the top tier - meta etc, but from the perspective of a filthy casual, I just wanted to say that RS felt pretty good at the start.
Now bring on the hate!
