I have 3 Conquests to do now and the last DQ. All my sets are complete so I’ve been picking up as many cards as possible that I was missing from the voucher collections because I figured they might be needed for the next master. I’m at the point now where there are only 15 cards I don’t have. All of them are at least 100K and higher so I need to hope for some good luck to put it lightly. The overall buy now price of those 15 cards is over 3M. I pulled Ohtani last month and got Judge after a flash sale lowered him just enough after staying up to 3 in the morning flipping for a week straight. Good times.

I think it’s more important that you could earn the Pipeline players in various ways. I have 3 dupes at the moment and I’ll probably get several more because I’m using the mini season to grind the My Legacy Program for De Vries. I also have Topps Now, WBC, an Astros no-hitter player & the DD Broxton dupes and scores of WBC uniforms. I know it’s a PITA but what can you do?

Sal Stewart is the only other Red that comes to mind but I hear ya.

@MikeB14085_PSN Oh, I completely agree. I’m just worried about the voucher sets. It would be a completely d*ck move to include all the Draft kids, though.

It looks like it positively affected the price of Awards cards and Berkman but didn’t the All Stars, Babe & the Red Roch go up? EDIT: And it looks like Ted went up as well.

@NYYankees135078_XBL I took Willie because I just got Broxton which completed all my sets so I thought more in line with getting the best player for me. I’m all about completing the sets but I’m sure one of the more experienced players has a better take than me, though. Good luck

A nice gift. I went with Willie. I just got Broxton a couple days ago so all my sets are complete. I’m not yet thinking about the next master and went with my top choice to play instead of a rarer set, etc. Thank you!

I always thought it was because I seemed to win the semis at home and the finals on the road. Those people in Liechtenstein had murder in their eyes, my friends.

I got the last 3 Spring Breakout cards I needed to finish for cheap. Whoopdeedoo!

Show Zone thinks this week for the next Flash. The last one dropped Mookie in half for a hot minute, so I grabbed him. Have all the masters but need a Prime card.

This post is meant to be positive, life affirming and doggone it, inspirational. I picked up the game for my grandson this year who hit a homer in his first at bat and then moved on to Minecraft then bequeathed the Show to me. I dabbled in April with my Road player then got bored and discovered DD. I thought it was kinda childish at first - really? Ohtani is on the same team as Babe Ruth. Science fiction, which I hate with a passion. But…then I realized you could earn the cards. Simple as that. I was hooked. Last time I played the Show had to be at least 15 years ago and while it was similar to 2K, I always found it kinda arcade-y. I started DD in earnest the last two weeks of the 1st Inning and finished around 25K short of the WBC Bosses. Since then I’ve been hooked. Sometime in June, I discovered the difficulty was a little low so I moved up to All Star. Recently, I tried Legend. Won one game then got a big head and immediately got my a$$ whooped repeatedly so I dropped back down eventually settling at All Star. I saw the Ultra pack rewards in the Gauntlet and HOF mini seasons so I decided to give it a shot. First couple of games went as well as you might expect but then I noticed my timing was getting better. Well, to make an already too long post a little longer, I just won my 13th HOF game and got the Ultra Pack and for my toil? Five WBC dupes that netted me like 12K. Ha ha. Anyway, I’m on vacation next week with my grandson and I think I’m ready for online play…where I will undoubtedly get massacred by ringers who will call my Mother names but I’ve heard just about everything. My Wife is shooting me “the look” so have a great evening and God bless. ️

I remember in Strat o Matic that Bonds’ 1993 card was the only player in the set with no name listed. It just said San Francisco - LF. I think I remember mention of the licensing rights cost becoming too prohibitive so the team names only contained the city.

@Teak2112_MLBTS Oh wow. I had picked up an idea from some previous comments but that is obviously much different from this year. Think I’ll hit 500 more homers for the Yankees and Giants? Ha ha. Thanks

Only the Red Sox reward card? I grew up in Boston during his heyday. My first glove in Little League was a Wilson autograph model which was weird because I was a righty. ️

I’m grinding #1 Teams to build up stubs this week and picking up every affordable card I can to prepare for the next master collection.
