I am not defending SDS. The patch seems like it is truly messed up (I have not tried to play yet) and that is on SDS at the end of the day.
This is a direct response to the obnoxiously impatient crowd like Knighter and Sunt who refused to allow SDS the time to properly identify the issue and create a patch that actually solved the issue. That crowd didn't want to listen when we said this stuff takes time, they called us bootlickers and shills etc. Not defending SDS overall...but this is what happens. They're likely losing their $hit over this patch now too
So the customers are the reason for a poor product and are also responsible for a terrible patch to said poor product? You need some chapstick after all your [censored] kissing.
Proving my point for me, I appreciate that. And no, I'm saying their complete lack of patience did with all the belligerent whining ...I'm stating the fact that the dev team needs to actually isolate the issue, then formulate the solution, which takes more than a few days...otherwise you end up in messes like this. You guys are the same ones who want contractors to do things so cheap and so quick, but then turn around and complain about the quality.
