Why would they announce stuff that they know would drive players away.

Usually the preorder packs are exclusive for a bit, but it could be different for wbc packs

@Easy_Duhz_It__PSN if it had been like that from the start, there wouldn't be a gripe; however, these packs just started showing up last year along with the excessive amounts of chase packs and other blatant cash grabs. Sds is starting to slide closer to what EA is and further from what made me fall in love with this series.

There are choice packs (just like there was in 25) but most look to be random "contains 1/3 player(s)"

@GoozeFn_PSN choice packs say choice at the bottom and Ashley said "at random" when talking about them.

Random specialty packs with huge pools of players are confirmed to be back in the game. These packs are a clear tactic to get people to buy stubs to get the cards they need on the marketplace. I was hoping these kinds of packs would go away, but sds is doubling down on them.

I don't mind random selection packs when the player pool is small <10, but big pools of players, I get tired of pulling the same 3-4 out of 20+.

Sds is holding back the advancement. When the ps4 came out, there was a big increase in graphics

Yeah, we saw this last year with all the chase packs.

Are we back to rewards for each team? I hated that they only did division, league, and mlb rewards for a bit.

The regular price will be the same. I also believe the early access only comes with the digital deluxe.

@akapaco159_PSN if you want sds to listen to your input, just become a content creator, develop a large audience, and complain about stuff that only you and the most elite players want changed. It's that simple. /sarcasm

@SaveFarris_PSN that's a good point, but this community is amazingly good at guessing players based on silhouettes, so maybe they are holding back because they want to save the reveal for one of the live content streams.

Something tells me there is more to that legends pack. There's usually 5-7 choices in the preorder packs

I've been playing The Show since 14. I almost always get the Digital Deluxe version. In 25, I stopped playing right around the first boss programs shortly after the WS. Usually I play all the way until the next game is released.

So far, this year's game has not shown me enough to convince me to buy 26. Last year, the live content stream convinced me. I'm hoping the same will happen this year.

Is anyone else still on the fence? What would convince you to purchase?

I always turn the music off first thing and just put spotify on my xbox.

@Jacob151167_XBL yeah, I usually buy the digital deluxe every year, but I haven't seen anything to convince me to buy this year, even with the 10% discount.

I want to aee the return of specialty packs being choice packs by default instead of hoping for specific players out of a huge pool. I don't mind different rarities, but make them choice packs again.

This is the most quiet I've seen the forums this close to launch. Idk if it is because of marketing, but it's not a good look.
