I totally agree! I played a franchise on MLB 19 and played several seasons that year. When Mike Trout was 32 years old in that franchise he was down to a 72 overall. That's way to drastic of a regression. Just goes to show you that franchise has pretty much went untouched all these years.

@fubar2k7 I understand that. I look forward to the cover reveal every year too because that means the new game release is close. But I've read comments after previous cover reveals where people were so mad that they weren't going to buy the game because of who was chosen to be on the cover. Why would anyone take it that serious? Its just absurd to me.

Why do people care so much about who is on the cover???? I can care less about who is on the cover. I want a good playing game and better and deeper franchise mode. It can be a blank cover and I'll still buy the game if the game play is awesome.

I'm pretty sure that MLB the show franchise has an unlimited amount of seasons. I think you can play forever if you'd like. As far as changing teams you would have to leave GM mode on when setting up your franchise. That allows you to change teams after the contract is finished.

Being able to continue your franchise year to year HAS to be back this year. This is maybe the most important thing to me personally.

I've never played more than one team in a franchise before but I believe you can select as many teams as you want when you are at the team selection screen when you are setting up your franchise.

I totally agree that progression and regression needs tweaked, especially regression in my opinion. I'd like to see regression happen at the end of the season like in Madden Franchise. Older players regress so much during the season and by the middle of the season they are a shell of their former self. In a franchise I did in MLB 18-20 I played 15 seasons and I remember Mike Trout at age 32 being a low 70's overall player. That shouldn't happen. At age 32 Mike Trout will still be one of the best players in baseball.

In Franchise when moving from Spring Training to the regular season or from regular season to the playoffs, I've never understood why it doesn't have a pop up asking you to select your 26 man roster. This seems like it would be an easy fix to this problem. When everything is set to manual I expect to have total control over every roster move.

So I started up a random franchise last night with the Tigers and simulated to the draft. I drafted position players only that had secondary positions. After the draft I looked again and every player I drafted once again had no secondary positions listed. So I simulated the rest of the season and the offseason and got to the beginning of the 2022 season. I went to my roster and the players I had drafted now had their secondary positions back. So obviously its just a bug that happens after the draft.

If you go to the Roster Vault there are a lot of good choices for Franchise Rosters. I'm doing a Pirates Franchise and I downloaded one of RidinRosters and Spencer Torkelson and all the real Minor League players, including the draft picks from this year are in my Franchise.
