I did auto generate and edit from there and it only lets me do what I mentioned above. If I try to add a second or multiple set 5 cards to my team, it will just replace and swap out whatever set 5 card I have at the time, allowing me to only have one set 5 card on my team.

I noticed that in building my DD team I can use one (1) Set 3 card, (1) set 5 card (used as wild card), and the rest set 4 cards in order to be season 5 eligible. And yet I've faced other teams that have multiple set 5 cards on their team. How is this possible? What am i missing here? Can someone help me out with how they're able to do this?

I stepped away from the console for probably an hour or two and after restarting the console out of rest mode, I logged back into the game, and upon going back into my game history, it suddenly appeared and I got credit for the win!

You were right! Apparently restarting did the job, thank you.

Is there a glitch?

I just got through playing a 9-inning game and won 5-2 and even clicked on "confirm exit" tab at the end of the game. After exiting, a pop-message appeared stating that as if the game was never played (message comparable to what would appear if you had agreed to a friendly quit).

I went into my game history, and sure enough, there is no record of the game that was just played. How frustrating and what a waste of time.

Anybody else experience this?

A pet-peeve that has existed for previous years is still a problem.

For example, I had a runners on 2nd and 3rd with one out, I hit a hard grounder just left of their shortstop and advanced my runners on contact thinking it would get through. However, he was able to field it, but erroneously threw it to 2nd base, and then threw it home. My runner on 3rd base should have already crossed the plate, but instead was easily tagged out, because he had automatically dove back to 3rd on contact before advancing. Why?

If anything, the runner should freeze making sure the fielder fields it, giving us the option to advance if it gets through, or advancing on contact.

I can't think of anybody more deserving than Shohei Ohtani. Do you guys agree or have someone else in mind?

Perfect game is nothing to brag about. I've thrown plenty myself. It just means that your opponent should stick to playing CPU and is probably batting a buck something up and down the lineup.

Get rid of Shippett...absolute cheesiest stadium.

I finished a 9-inning vs CPU game to complete Smoltz program. Got to post game menu then got booted. Do you think it will go through? Don’t want to play CPU for another 9.

Don't bank on what I say, but based on myself being in similar situations previously, you should be fine.

I've turned my game/console off on the post game menu without actually exiting. Upon reviewing my game history, I still received acquired stats and the win.

I know that you have to adhere to certain squad requirements like: Position Players 3 x 95+ overall rating, 3 x 85-94 overall rating, the rest 84 or below, etc.

For those of you who are participating, are you creating a new squad in your DD Manage Team section? I am asking because this is the first tournament I'm entering and just want to make sure I start off on the right foot. lol

Does this sound correct?

Last night, i got matched up with opponent choosing Shippett as home field. I asked for FQ, he accepted.

This happened literally three more times in a row, and I was fortunate enough that all three accepted FQ request before I finally got home field advantage on the 5th try.

(I feel like your SP will have a lot to do whether they accept or not....just my opinion.)

Deleting application and redownloading the game worked! I'm back on. Whew!

Good point.

I was thinking if I could get online with any other games, but I've had to completely reinstall my system software recently, and as a result, even though I have tons of games purchased, MLB21 is the only one I redownloaded to my console, lol.

Thanks for all your feedback. It's all good. I'll just have to figure it out and deal with it. lol
