Thats bizarre. You definitely want a wired connection for online gaming especially one where milliseconds count.

Yea I was starting to think I was the only one experiencing this. I deleted and redownloaded multiple times. Nothing seems to fix it. I’m assuming it’s something to do with my console and not the game. Either way it can be frustrating online for sure.

I just got off. Played for a couple hours this morning no problem except my hitting slump continues in RS. That is my problem though, the game ran well.

I don't believe it has anything to do with your console if myself (and others) may be experiencing the same thing.

I just logged on to check and everything is up and running fine. I would not switch to Wi-Fi but maybe try to recycle your router unplug it for a couple minutes

Man, this is disheartening. I still can't get on, even after switching back to wired like you suggested.
At this point, I'm going to delete the application and redownload which is going to take a few hours, and fingers crossed, hopefully resolves my problem.

Yeah PS4 still, don't really know if PS5's are more readily available or still hard to get.....haven't checked lately.
I've had to completely reinstall the system software often at times lately, so you may be right.....that it's my console.

I was thinking if I could get online with any other games, but I've had to completely reinstall my system software recently, and as a result, even though I have tons of games purchased, MLB21 is the only one I redownloaded to my console, lol.

Exactly. If you’re able to load other games online, you probably just have a corrupt file in your MLBTS folder. If you’re able to boot up games but not get online, may be networking issues. If you’re having trouble booting up multiple games period, it may be a hardware/hard drive issue
