So as I’ve said before I have a barebones set up on this game. play on a tv normal remote nothing hardwired and I have been on a losing skid lately not good going into weekend classic. But I just took a top 50 player on the leaderboard into the 12th inning and was 2 inches away from walking it off twice. He was messaging me snarky comments the whole game like “u can’t hit” and “ur bad” and “dude I can’t see the ball” but I think it’s just because I had him scared. I am rated 863 and he was somewhere in the 1500s don’t wanna give his exact number away but honestly I’m just proud of myself that I managed to compete with that. Boosts my confidence big time going into weekend classic.

@GoozeFn_PSN yeah if even offline u go back and watch a replay it takes them a quarter century to drop there bat and take the first 2 steps.

@Easy_Duhz_It__PSN this is exactly how I feel as a die hard baseball fan this is like Christmas and opening day is like new years can’t wait to start fresh and start grinding this game

All star game mvp and homerun derby winner will probably be next 99s we see atleast I hope anything else is way to quick

@LIONED-33_XBL it does it forces u to have much more of an approach at the plate. And as pitcher it combats how op hitting was.

I played one this morning and I have messages off unless ur my friend so he adds me and gets mad at me for bringing in Hader. I’m like dude ur up 3 why does it matter im not trying to make the lead anymore he starts going. ill use some nicer terms “chicken $***” starts calling me soft and just goes on and on. And he goes “gg hader loser”( again now actually what was said but u can imagine what was said) before the 9th even starts. he’s home team so in top 9 he brings in Hoffman weird I don’t rly see him a lot but know his change up is a huge velo difference so sit back. I think at this point it was still 3-0 I don’t remember it completely but I think the 9th went bunt single figgins and that got him going he basically asks me why I’m trying says it’s over I should just roll over and take it then tulo grounds out but moves him over then Elly 2 run shot. 3-2 he went quiet now then miggy homerun just glances the top of the wall like literally hit the top of the wall and bounced over 3-3 he starts messaging me bailed u suck learn how to hit “because the miggy shot wasn’t a perfect”. He goes to Duran I was sitting sinker hard Then the icing on the cake chipper goes yard 4-3 back to back to back on this guy. And he goes quiet bottom of 9th I brought in Duran he bunts but then goes 1-2-3 and game over before I can even say gg I wasn’t gonna call him out or anything this guy starts listing every hit I had that game and the exit velos and then he’s done and goes oh yeah by the way nice mommy settings bit#! I shouldn’t have to add u as a friend to tell u u suck. I’m like dude “I’m a grown 23 year old man I just don’t wanna hear from man children like u ur a perfect example of why I have this on.” Then he starts accusing me of cheating I’m like man 1 of my swings that whole game was a perfect I know ur mad but I’m a fully legit player. And then I was like gg and he hit me with the mad sweat response of “nah” like I just don’t know how people on this game go from being the most cocky macho man alive to balling up and crying like a tool cause his feelings are hurt that he spoke to soon and paid for it.

Also my apologies if I’m being annoying or in denial I just made my forums account today and looked forward to talking the show with people lol

It’s broken I’ve just tried to accept it’s the game we got for the year. hopefully the power creep will make the game a little less rng. I agree lineouts are rly broken amount of 100+mph lineouts this year is ridiculous. But bloops will hopefully go away as we get better fielders. Waiting for that guy to come in here and say “that’s baseball” or “it’s always the same people” just for somebody to pull there stats and them have 5 online games played all year lol.

@LHUBison58_XBL strongly agree with this they could have very easily taught us who Rick Farrell and bobby doerr are instead of just throwing them at us. cause I’ll bet myself included 95% of the community didn’t know who these guys where. And I feel like I have fairly good ball knowledge and I found myself calling my grandfather asking about these guys.

@DemIsE4_XBL it’s rly sad not even just mlb just any online game ur going to run into it. I just don’t get the satisfaction these losers get from cheating. Like ur not good enough to win on ur own so u get something to win for u? Whats so fulfilling about that id much rather lose a close game to a good player and know i competed or played good not cheat my way to wins.

@theBlindRhino_PSN as someone who flipped a lot so far have fun. Margins are absolutely terrible right now.

I just want something like last years draft map. That was a gold mine. That could be why they aren’t doing it this year they saw how many people got rich off it but if I people are willing to dedicate there time to do the map 2-3 times a day then we should be rewarded for giving are time.
