I can't be the only one getting an extreme lag ONLY on the marketplace? Everything else is pretty quick.
Is there maintenance going on or is it overload? If it's overload, is SDS going to be ready for Monday when all the free XBox players get on to the game?
You're not wrong. When the game 1st came out - it was peak MLB The Show. Everything played (fairly) true and it was fun.
After each update, it gets worse and worse
Hand out a game for FREE to the enormous base of XBox players and expect the same old servers to hold up?
Even those who downloaded it and won't play it again by next week are swarming these servers
This puts a crazy damper on us PS5 players who pre-ordered the game, ESPECIALLY those who dropped the $100 for it
Why not shut down the servers for 12 hours. Give 20% of your server space to the free downloads and the other 80% of the server space to those who paid for the game
Bet?
How bout we build a wall to keep out the xbox people?

2nd inning collection for rookies. These things pop up every few weeks
Awesome! Bought a shiteload of Pedro's and Chipper's for 300-400 hoping they'd go up for the Silver event....they didn't
Thanks for the bail out SDS!
How does someone already have Al Leiter? How Sway
Facts - PS4 you'll be watching the pitcher warm up for 2 minutes and XBox will always take a long time searching - even if you're extremely close in rank
FWIW - I realized you can hold both the left and right stick to the left if you want to keep the match window low (or move it to the right if you want to speed it up)
Just finished up the BR program and since the Ranked rewards are horse manure - thought I'd try out this event
Who TF wants to face Glavine, Dibble, Mariano Rivera every game and try to win 40 for a reward that will never see the light of day on any team?
Buttcheeks
Bruh - how do you play on eddies?
Love playing after a J but eddies is a whole different ballgame
Few things need to be adjusted and based on the replies - it's pretty glaring
There needs to be a speed between All-Star and HOF across the board UNLESS the sinker is fixed. If this sinker is fixed - HOF is a good speed for the upper tiers.
ALSO - you can make the sinker react to unfamiliar zones like you do with the curveball and slider. It's VERY difficult to backdoor a slider because arm angles of human beings makes that [censored] near impossible (good job!). If a sinker is thrown up and in - it should very rarely be dotted. No one...and I mean no one in baseball history has thrown a sinker up and in on purpose.
Wondering if different bats affect how the ball is hit. I just realized each bat description is different. Some boast about being a contact hitter's bat, a bat that increases exit velocity, , maximum pop etc.
Are these silver bat's better than some of the diamond bats based on the description, despite the attribute difference or is it all purely marketing/visual effect?
Feel free to chime in developers.
So I've been busting 5-10 wins a day in BR and I've finally reached 95
Ever since I did, I swear these pitches are coming in on HOF difficulty
Anyone ever do the grind to 100 and see this happen as well? Or is my reaction time dogsh*t today?
His stats may be large but this dudes bat pop is non existent. Super disappointed.

Ted Williams Pedro Martinez David Ortiz Carl Yastrzemski Roger Clemons (even though they didn't win the WS with him and also in his pre-juice, pure talent years!!) Roger Clemens was my idol. That being said, I think Wade Boggs would belong on a Boston list before Clemens. April 29th, 1986, a date that will live in infamy. The first ever 20 strikeout game, matched by only 3 pitchers since: 1) Clemens himself in Sept. 1996, Kerry Wood in 1998 and Max Scherzer in 2016!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I love Roger Clemens. He was my idol, as I stated before. But a lot of Red Sox fans hate him. That's why I said it. If you ask Boston fans, I'm sure they would put Boggs or even Dwight Evans ahead of the Rocket.

Clearly you don't know Boston fans. We hate Wade Boggs more than Clemens but it's close
When Boggs rode that horse around Yankee Stadium after his 1st WS win - we forgot who he was
Truly, any Red Sox player that went directly to the Yankees we hate
Except for Ellsbury - we saw that you paid $140 million for a 30 year old who used speed as his main tool.
