I'll strike you out consistently my boy
That 67 mph curveball on the 85 card is nasty. Wish it also was on the 95 version.
Spend 20 to 25 minutes everyday before you start online play and go into custom practice. AL VS NL and hit with judge and pitch with skenes. All 4seam fastballs and at first only make them be strikes allover the plate.
Start on GOAT until you start making contact on GOAT then drop to legend until you start hitting them then drop to Hall of Fame until you start consistently hitting them back to back or every other 1.
Then start getting thrown only the 3 up high locations with the 4 seam. Do that like 3 mins and then change locations to where it's pitching the 3 high and the 3 low locations and leave the 3 middle locations Grey. Do that 3 or 4 mins. After that work on any locations your struggling to hit against with the 4 seam. Like inside 3 locations up to down.
If you do this every time you first get on I promise you will see results when you hop online
There is always gonna be players that you automatically have more success hitting and getting on with base with. I don't exactly think that each hitters personalized swing animation really effects the outcome to much. Because every player has to hit X to swing and learning when to hit X at the right time to make good contact is something I don't believe a swing type makes any easier or harder. I think that timing is always the same.
I think you are more confident and comfortable with player 2 and since you know you have more success at the plate with player 2 your confidence using him subconsciously helps you out. Your probably more patient with player 2 as well and get into more full counts and advantage counts cause you know you always do well with player 2. Idk man. Good luck.
I've noticed that 70+ stats are in the games opinion when players start getting decent at hitting. PCA 89 OVR Easter egg card for example. The two players you showed are decent players. I have been told that each players personal swing plays a role in hitting. Some players have a swing that you end of preferring and others have a swing that isn't as fast around to the ball or smooth. I personally think it all comes down to concentration, timing, patience, and PCI placement.
No matter who I hit with if I stay patient and take balls and make them throw me a 3-2 pitch I have a 98% chance that I crack a hit into a gap or over a wall.
I sit with my PCI locked up top and stay ready for the 103 4Seam up high and then react downward to anything else that's coning down in the zone.
PRECISION RINGS ARE A GAMECHANGER.
highly recommend buying 2 packs. Also having the ps5 edge dual sense controller keeps some problems away you can't imagine. Being able to edit your left and right stick dead zones however you please has actually tweaked how smooth and accurately I move my PCI around the box.
Ultimately though, if you approach every at bat with patience and Always stay ready for the high fast ball and force them to either walk you or pitch a gift In the box will make you better immediately.
What I've been struggling with hitting is discipline to not swing even when I saw long time ago that the pitch is bad.
Oh ya. If you can catch onto the pitchers pattern as fast as possible and start having good idea of what pitch he is going to throw next and prepare your PCI for it ahead of time it will raise your contact at the least.
Recap:
Swing less
Anticipate location/speed
Precision Rings
Determine patterns for each opposing pitcher
Stay ready for 100+ fast ball High
I guarantee you will hit more with everyone if you can learn to swing less and work yourself into 3-2 counts 2-2 counts while recognizing where they like to locate the balls when they're losing in the count. Lot of pitchers start spamming the 4seam when you put them in a position like 2-0....3-0 ... cause they're uncomfortable and don't wanna walk you so they resort to a pitch that's easy to strike and hard to hit if the batter isn't prepared for the speed. When you got them in that situation you know your about to crack a base hit or HR.
Played all night last night and today I can't get into a lobby with an opponent. Doing the challenge failed stuff. My NAT is at type 3 and I think that's what's causing it. I cannot figure out how to change my NAT type to another type to see if that's really the problem. Seen this has been happening for years. Figure someone by now would have. Gonna have to leave t mobile. My spectrum service never did this.
