Contact swing is fine. People over exagerrate how good it is. The only problem is how easy it is to get perfect/perfects. It should be harder. Perfects should get the same exit velos no matter what button is pushed but again it should be a smaller window for contact swing and i can't tell if that's the case from the testing i have done. I have tested exit velos on normal contact swing and they are not equal to normal swing. Not even close...

I'm all for 2K trying, EA too, competition is a good thing, keeps them from resting on their laurels.

Only competition those two companies are having is who’s worse/More greedy . honestly think no one beats EA but 2k gives them a run for there money .

You are only seeing what they are right now where they have thier sport monopolized. If they have to compete with each other for customers, you'd see a different side. Sure they will still be greedy, but not to the point that they will sacrifice improving the game.

Right now it feels like collusion, all 3 of them have thier monopoly and have made some sort of pact to not try and compete, that way they can keep pumping out the same mediocre game year in and year out.

FWIW, SDS is better than the other 2, but that is an extremely low bar to get over.

I agree completely, I am not saying it's a guarantee that they will get better, but the logic is there. There is a better chance competition will force them to improve rather letting them get away with minimal improvements year to year.

Right now we are all playing into it with card collecting modes. All 3 companies know all they have to do is dish out content each year and we will buy, they don't have to put resources into being innovative with game play, or improve servers, etc.

We just need a EA Star Wars loot box fiasco and backlash till then get comfy nothing will change . Tired of some of these gaming companies like EA , 2k , Ubisoft , I refuse to buy another game from any of them .

My opinion is always, any company that wants to throw thier hat in the ring, can't make it any worse. Like RBI baseball, we just won't buy it. Obviously the difference is that RBI is trying to carve out thier niche with a pure Arcade game, rather than trying to make direct competition. If we talk about RBI, we may as well talk about those baseball games for out smart phones, or honestly OOTP. It's a baseball video game, but it is not direct competition.

Unfortunately 2k and EA have cornered the market with there Licensing . making it even harder for anyone to even attempt to compete with them and find success doing so , it’s really gonna take the consumers as a whole to take a stand and migrate and give the impression that they would be willing to abandon 2k or EA . Look at Nba Live the product just couldn’t compete with 2k , they seem to have sorta given up because the success was not there .

Yeah, I make no illusions, I see almost no chance that we will see any competition. I just want people to be more receptive about the idea.

I think the main issue is that when he becomes affordable for most players, there's more than likely going to be much better options over him. Especially if people are focusing on the live series collection and especially the National League. Soriano will be a better option than Jackie no matter what. At that point, the only reason to spend the stubs on Jackie is if you really love him or there's a big collection mid-game.

Ive hit bombs where ive completely missed the ball with the pci so i think the pci is accurate , we just want to believe the feedback is wrong.
