They'll eventually release a Choice pack that will have all of the Retro Finest FK cards in it.

Or....they might not...because the name of the collection is finders keepers...which kind of implies there will be "losers and weepers."

On another note...if they don't re-release the packs (which they should NOT...given the name of the collection) I think the final reward should be a maxed out, sellable, Jeter captain that gives a +5 boost to every attribute of every card in the game. Now that...would be a reward...and one worthy of the most expensive collection (if they don't re-release the packs). (One can dream anyways)

Jeter's Signature card is already over powered. Don't need one that's even more of a stretch.

What route did you take to complete the Extreme Program?

I ended up getting the sufficient amount of points in the program. That seems the most common route.

That moment when you have great user input on a pitch only to have it defy physics and jump a foot right into the center of the plate. This is especially fun when it happens in the moonshot event where it's already difficult getting outs.

I'm sure some of my opponents think the same thing. I like to check every so often on pitcher stamina and confidence. I like pausing to see what pitches a RP has in his arsenal plus I will change defenses at various times. Not trying to be toxic, just trying to increase my chances of winning.

I wish they'd have an option to constantly have th3 pitchers "stats" visible.

Also, I'm pretty sure there are more people, albeit not alot, playing 23 than there are playing 22.

It also doesn't help that SDS made ALL the Rewind packs in the Forever Event non-sellable.

While not necessarily agreeing with what they did, by making them non sellable they are trying to get folks to play the game more.

Same for me. Last year was going to be the year I didn't get it but the addition of the Negro Leagues sucked me back in. I enjoyed that program but pretty disappointed how that aspect of the game just fell off a cliff.

Agree on variety And what's the big deal about exposing newer players to the games history? How is that not a positive especially if it can be done free or on the cheap.

I know it won't happen because they are a small company but I've always thought it would be a good idea to contact as many living former mlb players as possible and see if they want to be in the game. Surely there are some guys who aren't superstars who would love to be in the game for cheap or even for free. As a braves fan I'm thinking of the Mark Lemkes, Jeff Blausers, Otis Nixon types. It could easily add to the diversity of the game.

Saalfrank for the Snakes is a LS common I believe and he got either a 97 or 99.

With the captain boost can attributes play in excess of 125 or do they simply cap out at that point? Well doesn't that make this years Retro finest 2023 Retro Finest. 2023 Future Stars are different than previous seasons and so on. Doesn't seem very consistent, not that it matters at this point in the game.

Might not be many folks but I can see some not coming back to the game because they don't care to grind/play for another 99 of the same player they earned a 99 several months ago.

As has been stated many times this year the content delivery (amount/type/timing) has been very questionable.

There is so much that could be expanded on.

They started off well with Grizzled Veterans (Ryan), 50 Homer Club (Sosa) and East Divisions pitchers (Halladay) but then completely dropped that approach afterwards. Those are the captains we should have seen more of. Not just team based captains.

Give me more of these instead of Diamond Duos next year. Break out two new captains each pack.

I liked it when they used to use some of these parameters for event lineups/requirements. Events this year have been pretty stale IMO.

Thats more then most teams payrolls.

I looked it up and only the Orioles and A's had team payrolls of less than 70 million in 2023. The Pirates and Rays were close.

Think about teams that go to the post season most often. Those are the front runners now. The Braves and Astros. Any other team, he may as well stay with the Angels. Too bad for the Dodgers -they would have has a great 2025.
