This whole fiasco smells fishy to me. Like doping in sports, the cheaters are always a step ahead of the testers. I wonder if bad actors are hijacking others' accounts somehow...

That thought came to my mind as well tbh. Question for anyone that got banned, do any of you have 2FA turned on? Because its monumentally more likely for someone to get hacked if its off

I feel its not my job to keep from being hacked. Not throwing shade just saying thats not my job. my job is to play the game for enjoyment

So I looked at all my 0-0 games in my play log. EVERY single game with a 0-0 score involved a player who went 12-0 without throwing a pitch! One of them had 16 wins in a row with 0 pitches thrown. One player had 14 game sin a row against the same team. So I'm guessing that maybe if we "played them" then we are attached to them. That doesn't explain how they matched up with my team. One game happened while I was at work, one while i was at the movies, and 5 games when i was out of the country.

I went back and looked at Reddit from last year in regards to Bans. It looks like 5-9 days was the turn around time to lift bans if they were lifted at all. So I guess we shall see. I look at the two year ban as weird. Like does Sony/SDS not want the money from next years game? I don't have a business degree but feel a company would want to make money off users. Madden has been banking on this for years with the same [censored] game.

In the past I think mini season, and before that extra innings games would show up in your game log when other real players would go up against your team. I wonder if that is the issue here. Still wouldn't explain Franchise though. Do you have a linked account (Xbox to Switch or Playstation)?

For the Franchise part, MTO counts as franchise on ones profile I believe, but yeah you are right on that other stuff

I have played MTO but not to the tune of 2 hours

Yeah my ban went from 2 days to 90 days to 2 years now.

I just got home and my ban went from 90 days to 2 years

Nobody can answer for sure but based on the points system explanation it seems like they believe you are using some cheat or exploit to earn program points faster.

I am not sure how that is even possible in conquest or missions

Well, I received an email from the support staff and they said it was for account sharing/win trading in BR apparently. The funny thing is that I have never played BR in the show 23 and I certainly didn’t give access to my account to get wins in it ,so idk where this came from. I followed up on their email to hopefully get proof of this magical BR game.

100% SAME Exact thing happened to me! Waiting as well my friend

I’ve heard from multiple people who were also banned on twitter. And we all shared emails they were word for word the same. All got identical responses same sender all banned around the same time and recieved emails around the same time. My original ban was 2 years which magically decreased to 90 days a few hours later. I’ve heard some people getting them reduced down to 2 days

I'm at work but will check when i get home. Mine actually did the opposite on Monday night. Originally said 2 days and then went to 90 days. Hoping it gets fixed. Don't want to miss out on 3 months of play.

So how many times do we hear this from users? Getting suspended for something they didn't do. I was playing a game Monday night and got kicked. I thought the servers went down and didn't see anyone else complaining and I checked later and it said I was suspended for 2 days for cheating. I placed a ticket. I then went back on yesterday morning before work and it said suspended for 90 days. I got this from support last night.

Well the only problem is that I have yet to play online in 2023 and only have grinded offline. How can my account get suspended for something I have literally not done. I know this will not be resolved because there is probably no "Manny" and this is a bot. I do not think anything will come of my ticket. At least when I checked this morning it was down to 89 days, so at least there is a glimmer of hope.

how long did it take for their response, and did you only send a ticket on the website or were you able to find a phone # or an email?

I submitted mine on Monday night at 10pm. Got response from Manny around 4pm. Same response as others about win trading in BR mode. A mode I haven't played since 22

So just got info back from SDS. I have a 90 day ban for win trading/ Account Sharing in BR mode. Haven’t played that mode at all or asked anyone to play that mode for me. Guess I should drop
It or reach out again?

I did just like I did tons of times last year. I restarted like 2 seasons without starting any game and then in my current season probably skipped 2 games

Yeah that might be it man. People have been using miniseasones to XP up by skipping games.

Could Be. I just don't see why that matters. If I play the game and lose no sweat. If I skip the game and lose then I'm cheating. Plus if I played the game I would be gaining XP. So by skipping im losing out on xp. I don't know. Seems like if I want to t skip a game and lose and not get XP then that's my prerogative. Not @'ing you just talking out loud
